NBA.com Dunk of Night with ex-Jazz Enes Kanter

Must have been the only dunk of the night.
This.

Not a bad dunk but probably the worst "dunk of the night" I ever saw

Did you even notice that Durant and Ibaka were injured and out for the season by then ,their pretty good ball players by the way.
Typical, not knowing anything about basketball to blame one player out of five players for all the defensive woes.At least the OKC fans point at Waiters and Augustines bad defense and not trying to point at one player.Last year Kanter played with Burke and Burks ,both finished at the bottom of worst defensive players right there with Kanter, but to Utah fans like you pointed only at Kanter.

And right now Utah could use Kanter badly as a healthy and highly productive player.
1. Kanter isn't nearly as bad as many JF posters want to admit.

2. There's a reason why Kanter's real/regularized adjusted plus-minus stats are so terrible: he's one of the worst defensive players in the league. So far this season, he's 70th out of 72 centers in defensive real plus-minus. Last season, he was dead last -- to go along with his league worst rim protection stats.

3. Nitpick: Kanter played 9 games with Ibaka last season.

4. What the **** is wrong with Turkish people?

I have gotten over Kanter but dam did we have to just give him away for nothing.

I think what folks need to realize is that the Jazz weren't just trading Kanter. They were trading the right to pay Kanter a max contract. There's extremely little value in that. Dude's barely getting 20 minutes a night and he's on a max deal.

There was no chance anybody was going to offer anything remotely useful for that.

Not a bad dunk. I give it 7/10.

21pts 8rbs... his best game of the season?

You'd give that dunk 7/10? How the **** is that even worthy of a 5/10? ****ing lame as ****. Were there no other dunks in the entire league last night?

Burke's poor defense has been discussed ad nauseum on Jazzfanz -- were you napping during those discussions? And last year Trey only started through mid-January alongside Kanter, then moved to backup alongside Rudy until the Kanter trade. Weak argument.

And you probably understand the disproportionate effect a rim protector (or lack thereof) has on a team's overall defense.

Kanter's defensive stats did not improve when Alec was injured last year. Weak argument.

He was never productive here. Because he didn't try here. Because he's a bitch.

That's what happens when you're a bitch and cry for a trade midseason. Your value goes down. It also goes down when you don't try hard (which tends to effect performance).

I'm stunned this concept is hard for people to grasp.

Kanter is 8th in the NBA PER Rankings you guys were claiming his the worst player in the NBA last season,(waiting for someone to say PER is a useless stat, when all the ppl decide best player in their team with PER, even league MVP)

Thought Utah would have been a contender this season without Kanter, he was the one dragging them down since hes that bad

When did i say someone on this site said that ? i just thought u guys were waaaay better without him, as you guys mentioned hes a negative player and Utah almost made the playoffs last year, this year without Kanter (a really really bad player) and with more experienced young group, i just thought u would have been better not at the same place SINCE LOSING KANTER IS AN UPRADE

You said it when you said "you guys were claiming..."

Was losing Exum and upgrade? Gobert? Burks?

Without those very significant injury issues this team would be in a much better position. But no one was saying this team was going to compete for a title this year, unless they were joking or stupid. That is not the consensus opinion on this site. Never has been.

And many saw losing Kanter as a loss, but one that he forced on the team. For what it's worth if he would have been willing to accept the role he has on OKC here in Utah we would have been a way better team. But Kanter is a punk bitch and needed to **** over Utah so that he could go to OKC and get less playing time and play a less significant role in their success than he would have in Utah.

Yea he should have accepted a 10 mil a year contract to play 20 mins at a first round exit team, instead of max contract on a contender really makes sense try to remove ur homer glasses at least once in a week

That has nothing to do with what we were talking about. And he didn't leave Utah with a max contract in hand.

You said that around here we were all claiming the Jazz would be contenders without Kanter. That was a lie. You are a liar. That's the point I set out to make and it has been made.

Have a nice day.

Why do y'all keep feeding this troll?

I'm the only one who has responded to him. He's 3 posts into his Jazzfanz adventure. I thought there was a possibility he might be legit.
