I know this has been brought up a lot in the past, & I'm not positive it's even an option, but J.Parker could be a good target. Obviously there are injury concerns & he is about to become a RFA, but I would rather pay him than Hood as Parker should hypothetically fit alongside Gobert & Mitchell seems poised to eventually play himself into the starting lineup. I don't know what it would take or if MIL would consider moving hm, but I hope it's something we explore (pending cost).

Yup because we haven't been trying to find a shooting big and have amazing depth at PF and center. Cy... really.

He isn't a PF. He is a center. No reason to add money to the books for 2018-2019 that isnt helping us win games. I swear you people just want to see the Jazz sign someone to say they signed someone.

Jazz shouldn't be adding anyone who isn't a 3/4 to the roster unless they are minimum deals.

He can play both and at that number he's great deal. Would give us a different look at the five and I doubt Bradley is ready for any significant minutes. Second year of his deal is a PO and I can almost guarantee he opts out. If he gets hurt that's another story.

I don't have an opinion about this particular guy, but backup center is VERY MUCH a position of need.

This past year was the first time he had ever played PF. He played 330 minutes w/ Dwight and the team was -9.4 points per 100 possessions in those minutes. And they never played him at PF in the playoffs.

He can play PF the same way Dante Exum can play PF. You can technically put him there, but it isnt a good idea.

Absolutely correct. Jazz don't need marginal talent to take up cap space for next season. If Utah wants a 4/5, just bring back Diaw. He's on a 1yr deal. Jazz could probably even decline his option and sign him for less, although I doubt they'd do that. Might even bring back Withey for one year. Has he signed with another team? I see Bradley spending the entire season with the Stars.

Utah could just keep a couple of roster spots open. There are always a few decent players that get cut at the end of training camp: players who can provide some depth at a bargain price. Jazz don't have to use their MLE now. It isn't going anywhere.

No real reason to bring back Withey. Bradley can play in his limited minutes role and gain some experience.

I'd be fine with a second year of Diaw and then open up more cap space for next year. Might still use part the MLE for a one or two year deal for Ilyasova. Think he'd be a great guy for the bench.

Bradley is gonna be abysmal on defense I'd guess. He looks fat. And he's averaging a whopping 7.6 rebounds per 36 against ****ty talent. I'm sure he'll do great as Gobert's backup for 15 a night.

Favors is Gobert's backup.

And that's exactly why Bradley needs to spend the entire season in the G League, where he can play 30 mins/gaem, work on his offense and rebounding and get in better shape. I doubt Lindsey (or Quin) expected him to get any Year 1 minutes with the Jazz when they drafted him.

If favors is Goberts back up for 14-18 minutes per game, who is playing the other 32-36 minutes at pf?

I doubt favors can play 30 minutes a night and Joe Johnson, praise his name, can probably only go low 20-ish minutes per night.

Lindsey is going to figure all this out.

I think DL missed the boat by not addressing the PF position on July 1st. He put all his eggs in the Millsap basket, hoping Paul would take a discount to return and he could do a S&T with Favors and other pieces.

Diaw comes back for a year. Lindsey hopes he can flip Favs or Burks at the deadline for a PF. Or he waits for final cuts and signs whoever Denver decides to offload. They're not going to carry all the PF's they currently have on their roster. He's now on about Plan F, so a 1+1 deal for whatever FA can play the 4/5 may be plausible. There are a few stiffs out there still.

Plan G may involve Bolomboy. Jazz are toast anyway. Finish out of the playoffs, get a lottery pick and tell Silvers it better be top-3 or he's going to file a nasty tampering charge against Ainge and drag the league into a public airing of their dirty laundry. I'm not sure how it was done, but mere coincidence of Cleveland getting all the lottery luck after Lebron left doesn't quite register with me.

People have been impressed by Bradley in SL? F'rills?

The dude has looked terrible/lost and has zero touch at the rim. Are we watching the same games? I agree 90% of his 17-18 should be spent in the G League.
