Nets After Sap?

Nope and we are talking about this in the Al the third likely person to be traded thread!!

How about something that sends Millsap to the Nets along with Mo Williams. Someone on the Nets roster plus Mo to the Clips .. and Bledsoe to the Jazz?

I don't know **** about this stuff, so whatevs..

Nets have 4 decent starters and nothing after that.
Nets don't have much to bargain with any team.

It's either get some crap from NJ for Milsap or let Milsap walk to NJ for nothing in the offseason.

Then let him walk, cap space is better than crap. Although I am pretty sure there are other teams in the league to trade with...

There is only one thing that the Jazz would want from the Nets, a 2014 draft pick. The Nets cannot trade thief pick in the 2013 draft because they already traded their 2012 pick and you cannot trade picks in consecutive years.

I'm sure there is something that can be worked out.

I'd be down with a 2014 pick. JJ will be a year older and based on Lopez' and Williams' recurring injury problems, that could pick could turn into a gold mine. Either way, a 1st for an expiring is nothing to cry about. The problem is, the only realistic trade is probably Millsap and filler (Raja?) for Humphries who'd be expiring next year and could come off the bench for us and I'm not sure we'd want him back here, even for just a year.

I tried to finding a reasonable 3 way trade with the Jazz, Nets and Zlippers but nothing works unless e a jazz take on some ugly contract like Humphries or Wallace.

I tried this one and I think it would wok wit a couple of additions

The Nets also include a pick in 2014 and the Jazz trade the GST pick as well. It is not perfect but I wanted some thoughts about it.

As much as I hate the idea of Humphries I'd be ok with it for a few reasons. First, like you mentioned he expires next year. That is perfect for this team. Second, Humphries is so limited that I can't see Corbin giving him major minutes ever. Third, getting a 2014 pick in return will be worth it.

**** stoked!

What am I looking at? Just tell us what is says. I don't gots time to sift through 10, 000 tweets.

**** man my bad. I posted that from my Kindle and I am still figuring it out.

Sam AMico says he heard the Nets will make a play for Sap before the trade deadline.

I'd be fine taking back Humphries if it actually got us something that I wanted, but the issue is that Brooklyn literally has zero valuable assets.

Here's the tweet:

Not "likely," but hear they might make play for Millsap at deadline. RT @BrooklynNets11: Any of these likely to Nets? Nene, Boozer, Millsap?
