Yeh I don't know what Harbaugh did wrong, he was just excited, what you expect from the guy after a big win. Detroit's coach didn't have to chase him down, I mean let it go, jeez.

It's too bad all that post-game stuff went on because we should be talking about Alex Smith. In a difficult game which could have been blamed on him if they lost he delivered a game winning pass in the clutch. No Trout to be seen on JF calling him a bust.

Agreed. Jim Harbaugh has done wonders for Smith's career. It's amazing what good coaching can do. Also the 49ers have set themselves up for at least 11 wins this season. After the bye next week Cleveland comes to town, which I think will be a win. They still have 5 games left against their division, so give them another 5 wins there. Those 6 games there would get them to 11 wins. At worst I see them finishing 11-5, but think they can go as high as 14-2. 49ers could be looking at a 1st round bye, and hosting a divisional playoff game. I can't wait to see the Harbaugh Bowl on Thanksgiving night. That should be a fun game. I know I'm really looking ahead here, but this team (under Jim Harbaugh) really has be believing.

All Harbaugh did was shake Schwartz's hand a little too hard,

I don't think so. It looked to me like there was also a shove in the back. One angle looked like he just slapped him on the back, while another made it look like a shove. Apparently, he also said something about Schwartz's momma after he started chasing after him. I honestly thought he was being intentionally disrespectful, though.

Anyway, I don't really care, as I found the whole exchange to be quite hilarious.

This is pretty much what I thought of Schwartz's overreaction.

Get over it.

Give me a ****ing break. I just lost the game and the winning coach is pushing me in the back as he's acting like a prick, and I'm suppose to "get over it"? I'm reacting the same way Schwartz did.

Harbaugh's an *******.

After watching the replays both coaches overreacted IMO, you could expect this from players but never coaches.
I was in Wendover so didn't see the incident but I did see some of the first half and for Alex Smith his stats didn't look great but I saw two dropped passes one by Gore and one by Crabtree that seemed to kill the drive.

I don't really see a point in the Rams trading for Lloyd this year though when they could simply sign him next year. They aren't competing for anything. Too me the most sense for a team to trade for him would be the Titans. They need a #1 with Britt's injury and are actually competing for a playoff spot.

It would not be smart of the Rams to just wait and hope he is available next year and that he would even want to come to this team. They should trade for him this year for probably a 4th or 5th round pick and try to get him to sign an extension asap. If they can't, they get a compensatory 5th-round pick so they basically would have nothing to lose from having him for 10 games. Also, I WOULD have argued that they are still competing for the NFC West title because it's the NFC West but it looks like the 49ers are legit so probably not.

The Rams can have Lloyd, Luck and a reincarnated Norm Van Brocklin - it wouldn't make a bit of difference. Spagnuolo has no clue how to put an offense together.

Fine by me - the sooner he gets **** canned, the sooner he can come back to being the defensive coordinator for The Giants.

I saw the video just now, and didn't think it was that big a deal. Though I will say while I like a coach to show a little enthusiasm, Harbaugh's reaction as a head coach was a bit much. I might be irritated if I were an opposing coach and he was giving me a high five and a pat on the back in the same manner he would an assistant coach on his team.
