I am happiest of course to see the Jazz win, but I'm almost equally as happy to see anyone win who hasn't got a ring yet. Frankly as long as it isn't Brooklyn or the Lakers I will be very happy.

But the network may pay less in the next contract, due to lower ratings this time around.
 
Now people are seeing why I was adamantly against playing the Lakers in round one.

The augment was often made that they were banged up and would take time for chemistry and conditioning etc. And that's a good argument but my argument was always that it's too risky. What if they are healthy? What if they get their chemistry and conditioning?
How bad would it suck to have the best record in the nba and get the Lakers in round one and get knocked out in round 1.

Should always desire the easiest path possible to get as far as possible. I recognize that we likely won't win a title this year (I give us a 20% chance) but playoff success is still lots of fun even if it doesn't end in a title. Losing in the first round after the season we had though? No thanks.

So glad we didn't get the Lakers in round 1.

The Lakers size and defense is legit. Then throw in one of the best players of all time and another top 7 or so player and a pretty good supporting cast.
