NON-JAZZ NBA PLAYOFF thread

Valiant effort by the suns for a comeback.

The reason I think the Lakers are our worst matchup is because they can take our offense away better than anyone. Our offense is our Ace. The hydra. The 3 ball. Our offense was legendary this season and record breaking.

Our defense can suck at stopping the opponent and we can be fine cause the hydra starts breathing fire and snipers start sniping and our defense doesn't really matter.

But if our offense disappears we are ****ed. The Lakers have the potential ability to make our offense disappear.

We would struggle to stop cp3 and booker and bridges, and their shooters. But that's ok cause we can outmatch them with our offense.

The Lakers are made to shut down our shooting though and then we might be ****ed.

Plus the refs.

Suns averaged over 115 points per game on the regular season.
They are averaging 98 points per game in this series vs the Lakers.

Rivers singlehandedly won the game for Denver with four 3s in a row. Winder if Ersan’s ever gonna have a game like this for us in the playoffs.

If we get to play the Lakers I will be pretty happy. Western conference finals is great and I think we have a decent shot at beating them. Not stressing about them at all right now.

Could you imagine a Jazz-Bucks NBA Finals? I think the Adam Silver would have a conniption fit.

Of course, we're putting the cart before the horse with all this talk about who we'd rather face in the WCF. Frankly, let's just get through these next two rounds!
Even worse would be Jazz and Atlanta. Not a single established star. I'm sure he'd have several refs fired for allowing that ****.

I mean the TV contract pays the same no matter the matchup. State Farm may get a few less eyeballs, but they aren't getting a refund either.
You underestimate revenue from merch sales. And lower viewership for the finals will affect future deals. Just like has already been mentioned that the new agreements will be lower because of reduced viewership and fewer games during covid-19. That all ties together. I would bet serious money that the difference between a Nets/Lakers finals and a Jazz/Bucks would be no less than a 20% hit to current and future revenue, probably more.

Yep, like I always say people like the idea of Crowder more than the actual player himself.
The problem is the suns rely on him to hit that 3. On our team he would be expected to be a bigger stronger meaner O'neal, and any scoring would just be gravy. But for the suns he is needed to hit that 3 so when he isn't they really feel it. He was their leading long-range shooter this year. And their offense doesn't generate the wide open looks ours does. He'd be better with us. Kind of like he was in Miami where he wasn't expected to do much more then be a disruptor and energy guy so he did great.

i mean dude if Atlanta wins the east... they have an established star...

these scenarios are hilarious tho n im all for it.

bro are you watching the grizz series? the jazz are 1-1 going away. The last game we let morant ****in go nuclear on our asses. BOTH GAMES.

I forgot though, did Ja win the last game for his team?

I know what the Jazz are capable of and I am not afraid to put it out there. When they are clicking, nobody can beat them.
