This morning I took a few minutes to look for 20+ page threads without a single comment from PKM. Found this one.

... but he's totally done with political parties, broughs. for surrrrrre.

Yeah him not commenting lets you know exactly what his position is.

We should just have people no longer debate anything so we all know where they stand on every issue.

How did I know you'd be the first person to pathetically run to his defense?

I'd stick for anyone when they are being hit for not posting in a thread. It's stupid. Why not just call him in here and ask what he thinks? Oh that's right, because you don't care. You just want to try and prove some point.

Sometimes absence can be really conspicuous. It's especially conspicuous when that person has spoken of a recent act of civil disobedience was "one of the most incredible things he's ever witnessed." I mean, I think you'd expect that person -- who paints himself a centrist and has shown sympathy for activism -- to have an opinion about a significant historical political event.

(also, try looking for another thread of this length without a single comment from him).

And, PKM is on here trying to prove points all the time. Sometimes you have to evaluate a person's credibility before you consider the points they make. Are they really who they say they are?

His absence in this thread is ONE BIT OF EVIDENCE that it's dishonest for him to paint himself a centrist (an identity that he uses as a wedge in almost every politically charged conversation in which I've seen him participate).

So, again, you are basically saying that since he did not share his opinion with you that you obviously know what it is. Got it.

seriously, your powers of reason are remarkable. Where did I say what he is?

I'm saying he's not a centrist. He can be any number of things besides this. He can even be any number of those other things at the same time.

Stoked,
The interwebs want me to ask you why you didn't stick up for One Brow when Hantlers was calling him miserable, even though One Brow hasn't been around for weeks? The interwebs and I agree that it's probably because One Brow is liberal.

But you stand up for everybody, right?

Gawddamn things are confusing.

Oh you mean I am not omnipresent and I missed something? Or that I am human and maybe, just maybe made a mistake? You don't say...

I've stood up for you before. Just saying.

You can go back to thinking you have some great insight the rest of us lack. It's cool.

If I were to drop all the act, and speak directly to you, I'd guess I was speaking to a good guy. But, there's no doubt that you -- like PKM, actually -- have drifted pretty hard to the right. And neither of you never stood near a 'center', IMO. Your drift happened as you became moderator of a message board I like... so that sucked.

Quick question because I'm confused on how you worded this.

Are you saying that I think One Brow is miserable because he's a liberal, or saying that Stoked didn't stick up for him because One Brow is liberal?

Thanks.

No it didn't. All that simply happened is that you got to know me better. But I do like how you ignore all the times I took the liberals side on positions and just focus where I am on the right. Weed, gay marriage, abortion and immigration are some discussions where I am center or liberal.

I do try to be a good guy. But I am human and I don't always meet that goal. As for talking directly to people, I wish you'd do that more instead of attempting to talk down to everyone. That is my problem with you, not your positions.

Then what's your problem with me, bruh?

one could argue that you're not a centrist on those issues. I think you're more of a right-leaning libertarian that thinks these particular issues should just be absent of government. You consistently support peeling back the State, which is a core right-wing position. And, it is my opinion that you've been wagging the right-wing dogma extra hard lately. It probably isn't a coincidence that this happened as you were given surveilling powers (limited as they may be).

1 - I'm pretty sure you said what you think he is, a liar.

2- you rip on Stoked and his powers of reason, but don't even address what he said. Stoked mocked your knowing what PKM's opinion on something he never spoke about and you change it to "Where did I say what he is?"

1. That's about as strong and unkind a reading as you could take. I'm not surprised you've rushed in to take it.

There's ample room in my comments for the following scenario:
PKM to believe he is a centrist.
For PKM to articulate his positions with that identity in mind
For me to say, "no, this isn't the behavior of a centrist."

^actually, this is exactly my position. I don't think PKM is a liar. I just don't think he's a centrist, and I don't think it's fair or helpful for him to call himself one.

2. I answered this in my comments about conspicuous absence. Stoked swung and missed.
