It was good but I don't think it was better than Beijing. Beijing had that "curtain being drawn back from a secret" feel that London could never reproduce. London did alright tonight.
The Olympic Cauldron and how it was put together was spectacular. Very original. Every nation came in with a 'piece' of the Cauldron and then all the individual flames became one Olympic Cauldron.
