This should get a sticky by admins..

Anyways, I'd like to hear all of your opinions as it's getting close to November. I'm not high on Obama but I think he's a much better candidate than Romney. Romney is a grade A flake, he tells everyone want they want to hear to get elected. Look at what he told the Israeli Prime Minster recently, and what he will tell us differently tomorrow. Not to mention Romney is having a horrible trip in London proving his inexperience in foreign affairs so I'm not even sure he can win this election now.

Anyways, opinions?

Romney may have turned telling people what they want to hear into an art form, but all politicians do this. I mean, is it coincidental that Obama's view on gay marriage finished evolving in an election year?

Sure, Romney goofed in London, but I don't think it will have an impact on the election.

I'm not even sure who I would vote for if today was Election Day. I'm not a fan of everything in the health care reform law, but in fairness at least Obama had an idea and went for it.

Part of me is disheartened by the fact that my vote as a Utah citizen gets thrown away in the Electoral College system. Anyway, I'm glad there are still a few months before the elections.

Really? Romney voiced a legitimate concern that has also been voiced by numerous Britts. London's Mayor and Britain's PM simply took offense although they likely have the same concerns. I'm at a loss how this is a horrible trip.

You're invited to dine at a friend's house for the first time. The meatloaf sucks. Your wife is a far better cook. Their house is smaller than your own. Their kids are obnoxious. The entertainment sucks.

Are you going to say these things? Even if they're true?

There are times to bite your tongue and times to open up.

I'm not sure if this was the right time for Romney to open up his trap. Although 99 % of all Brits probably agree w/Romney. They don't want to hear it from him at this time. Especially on his first trip as a Presidential Candidate. I'd think his goal would be to win their confidence and support, not annoy them.

As far as scoring political points here, who gives a damn what Romney thinks about the Olympics? Who gives a damn about the Olympics anyway? Can Football start already? I hate this dead sports period. Start Football!!!

I said something like that once and The Thriller called me anti-Mormon because of it.

Who cares if he annoys them? I'd rather he speak his mind than tiptoe around the subject. And what he said was not that bad.

I was kind of glad to see that people on the other side of the pond are just as insecure/sensitive as us Americans. I was concerned it was just an "us" problem.

Because unless the world goes to war quickly here and somehow Obama is viewed as a man of strength or Ben Bernanke finds the right blend of fairy dust ink to pump up the economy via printing excess money(figuratively of course) to its proper place, it's a losing bet.
