Super easy shrimp:

Thawed uncooked shrimp (whatever amount you'll eat)
Brush on olive oil
Sprinkle on black pepper and garlic salt
Cook until shrimp are pink

Pan fried is good, skewered and grilled is better.

I come across as someone who eats all healthy and **** but then I'll throw down 15 beers, be hungry as **** on the way home, and force MsSerp to stop by McDonalds so I can get a Value Meal plus two extra cheeseburgers.

I eat like a champ...and I cook like a champ.

I have a question for you girls... I'm trying to ship some homemade cookies to a friend and was wondering what would be the best way to package them and what kind of cookies travel best? Most helpful answer gets free cookies.

Plastic/paper plate, saran wrap it as tight as you can. Put it in a box. I would imagine that something like oatmeal raisin would package the best, as much as I love chocolate chip I just feel like the chocolate would go stale or melt. Hard to say though, that's the best I've got for ya.

Can't ship food to Idaho ... or something like that.

Thanks, ladies! Lots of good tips. I'll rep everyone tomorrow.

No one's getting any cookies until these guys make it to Japan...safe and edible.

Tell your homodachis over there to buy you a first class plane ticket to Japan if they want your cookies. If you want to be the next Rachel Ray, you need to start acting like it.

Put a slice or two of bread in with them. When I was out of the country on my mission, my mom would do that. The cookies arrived nice and soft while the bread was hard as a rock. I think it has something to do with the bread absorbing the air before the cookies do.

This is a real tip. Rep to you.
