Official Game Thread: "Uh oh, it's Magic" at Jazz...Saturday, 4/21, 8:30pm MT

I don't know if anyone else caught it, but driving home from the game tonight and listening to the post-game, they said that with Milsap, Favors, and Jefferson on the floor together, the Jazz outscored the Magic 71-35.

I want to see more of those three together on the floor.

Not bad considering that one of those players does nothing but bring the Jazz down.....

Ah. AJ possibly, but Harris was an All-Star not that long ago.

Harris is very clearly better over the last couple months than he just about ever has. Al is playing better than he ever has. Millsap is amazing everyone.

On top of that our very precious young players are actually showing up at a rate that IMO is very likely way above the average. I doubt anyone here is skeptical about Favors. Burks has had 2 strong games in a row. Kanter has had two very strong showings in a row. Hayward is like a miracle. If none of that has anything to do with coaching then I don't know what coaching is.

People on this site cannot wait to fire somebody. As a Browns fan I can tell you the satisfaction is very short lived when you find out the new guy isn't any better.

Kanter had some sweet moves today, I hope Prodigy makes a highlight film of what Kanter did today.

Pretty crazy to think the year after we trade utahs only franchise player, we are back in the play off hunt with no drama or bull**** while the nets wander further and further into obscurity...

+ rep for this post.

IMO there's really nothing about this team or any one individual who is trending negative as the season wears on (maybe with the exception of CJ Miles). In fact, it seems like just the opposite. Yet, some Jazz fans can't wait to fire Corbin, trade Jefferson, etc.

I'm actually intrigued by what this team has managed to do thus far. I'm pretty impressed considering this is Corbins first full year, he had an offseason in which he couldn't be in contact with his young team, and he's faced a regular season that has afforded him almost no practice time what so ever.

I think the lockout shortened season could have easily hurt the Jazz more than most teams in the NBA, yet here they stand on the brink of the playoffs.

Do you find Hayward dreamy as well?

A big reason for his insane PER is his 2:1 assist to turnover ration. No other big men getting 30+ minutes can sniff that.

This speaks nothing of derons abilities. Don't be a knucklehead.

Woah that's not what I was insinuating. Didn't mean to come off that way. It's just insane how amazing utahs situation is after the trade and just how screwed the nets really are. Koc...wow

Hating on favors while droolin on your boy aj. This is typical.

Man, some of you really need some reading comprehension.

All I said was that Favors currently does not require an instant double team on the low post. Am I wrong? And for the record, I would take Favors way before I took Jefferson. Favors has the size and athleticsim to eventually become a force on BOTH ends of the court. While I love Big Al from an offensive point of view, I realize that his lack of athleticsim will always leave him as a liability on the defensive side of the ball.
