Official Game Thread: "Uh oh, it's Magic" at Jazz...Saturday, 4/21, 8:30pm MT

Not trying to hate, but how can you be both inefficient and dominant?

Because instead of shooting the ball 20 times for 18 points, he's getting to the foul line taking his shot attempts down to 13-15 shots instead for 25 points. It also means he's taking less bad shots

He should get nobody's. The team is playing good as it is now, and I hope Corbin isn't stupid enough to wreck the chemistry. Maybe he should get minutes if Carroll/Burks aren't producing at all.

This is what I would do

Our chemistry is off the charts and
Carrol has helped us get there

I hope for emergency use only

I try hard not to complain in a game that is tied and that we are going to win, but sometimes Corbin's treatment of Kanter bothers me. Did anyone notice the play that got Kanter benched. First, I thought Kanter and Favors really came in and gave the Jazz a lift. Kanter is playing hard and he ends up having Neilson, Orlando's point guard, switched onto him. A height advantage of 12 inches and 150 pounds weight advantage. He post up and Tinsley ignores him and goes to the other side to run the dump down to Favors. He posts up again and they miss him. Kanter decides to clear out and Tinsley finally recognizes the mismatch and throws the ball to kanter while his back is turned and it was deep on the baseline, which Kanter does a good job of saving it from going out of bounds, by throwing it back up top. Corbin immediately turns and calls for Jefferson who doesn't notice because he is too busy clapping because we still make a bucket to notice. A timeout is called and out comes Kanter even though he was playing well. I know its doesn't matter because we are in a playoff hunt, but give the kid a chance.

I couldn't + rep since I was broke for reps.

Kanter and Favors. Future .. why not present?

hopefully next year...

NOT being a homer, but Kanter is better playing PF .. it suits his skill sets better. He can do a lot more than he's been asked to do. I'm glad he's being brought along slowly, though .. just not this slowly.

it was obvious since the start. I was angry with ty too at first, but kanter's defensive skills really sucked. hell one wouldn't know if it sucked or not coz he mostly didn't play defense like big al. but ty set his borders from the start. now I watched an enes kanter on the floor "seriously improved defensively". ty's choice also has the risk of decreasing his shooting skills but I don't see anything like that on the picture of the whole season. btw nice to spot another guy from the homeland.

Damn you Corbin for taking Kanter out and putting pick-and-roll horror in!

lol

love how kanter became a brick wall for one of the magic guards.

that is one of the most improved skills of him. actually not improved, but created from nothing! credits to ty and the jazz veteran players.

During the game there was 10sec wired of Ty Corbin's time out

Can you explain to me.. Why he was screaming some useless "С'mon" instead of analyzing or making some advices.

Or it's normal?

FWIW, the "wired" segments aren't allowed to air anything that is strategic in nature, for competitive reasons. in other words, they can play a coach saying "guys, let's guard the high pick-and-roll better" but they can't play a coach saying "guys, remember that on the high pick-and-roll, we want the big man showing hard while the primary defender recovers by going under and tries to force jameer nelson to his left hand."
