Add Robinson III to that list also. He should also be within our range realistically.
I thought of him too.
it is hard to gauge right now on who to watch in 2014 until this draft and summer are over.

This is what I really like about the 14 draft, take any player in the top 5 and they can fit into the Jazz no matter what players they draft this year.Just watch:
Wiggins-
Burks @ PG (I know it is not popular but get over yourself)
Hayward @ SG
Wiggins @ SF
Kanter @ PF
Favors @ C
Parker-

Randle-
Play really big and go

Harrison-

Gordon- (who I feel is most likely to bust out of the top talent in next years draft)

And just for fun I will add in one more name

See what I'm talking about!
I think in the last scenario Exum will be playing pg.
Thats where I have mainly seen him play. but I guess his growth spurt has moved him to SG

Where's Schroeder?
I said that it didn't matter who the Jazz got this year. I was just showing that I can see anyone being a good fit for the Jazz.
But if we got Schroeder.. how would Harrison be a good fit?
I just don't think Schroeder's the kind of guy who likes to sit on the bench and play nice...
what if he had played for UK?
just sayin' dun get 'mad.
Not drafting BPA AND best fit because of what might be next year is just about the stupidest thing I've seen suggested here.
I called Archie an *** clown.
I said Poythress played like crap.
I said MKG was drafted too high.
I said, a few post back, that I'd watch Poythress, Austin, and Smart (of non-freshman guys)... and only one of those are UK.
These posts are absurdly ill-conceived... or if trolling, completely lack any sort of creativity.
For the record, from what little I have researched on Andrew Harrison, he sounds like essentially the same player as Tyreke Evans but might just be generally better. Having a pure PG that you know can guard the position, can play next to Harrison, and on a team that he would be in the rotation still at worst (remember, the Jazz don't have a single PG under contract right now, so they still basically need two players anyway), the situation is NOTHING to be concerned about EVEN IF you are foolish enough to ASSUME that you're getting this one particular player in 2014. Astoundingly dumb logic.
Where's Schroeder?
Agree with the sentiment of your post. I am curious, however, how you find Tyreke as a good comp with Andrew?
Again, it's limited research (largely because I don't believe there is a lot if conclusive information yet). But the write-up on DX is that he could improve as a facilitator and because of that is a little stuck between positions. The meat of my comparison is that it's not certain how pure of a PG he is (which would theoretically leave room for him to play the 2).
