Maybe it's just me, but if I were a candidate and given a choice (money being equal) between the Knicks and the Jazz, I'd take the Jazz. Utah is in better shape financially, likely has a much better prospect than NY joining the team and can still go out and sign or trade for additional good players. Knicks are still a mess for at least one more season.

There is nothing about Jim Boylen that makes me think he would be a successful NBA coach. Nothing. Sure he Pop's top assistant right now, but he's the latest in that line. Some guys make good generals and some make good lieutenants. Boylen would get fragged.
