Not really. When I read nateboz' post, I just thought of that song. I do not find Snyder sexy. Not that there's anything wrong with men who do ;-)
What, I thought we've all agreed to come out of the closet for Wiggins. So, the deal is off now I guess, after the Cavs rigged the lottery for the nth time.
The Missouri fans hated Quinn Snyder with a passion. I saw a game on ESPN where some fan dumped popcorn on his head. He is certainly a smart dude, but I've heard lots of rumors about the guy. He has awesome hair and would be a good interview. He's paid his dues and has been on a lot of staffs. I'm excited about the possibility of getting a MBA guy who would dig into analytics. At least he's not Boylen.
Popovich > Assistant (Boylen)
Popovich > Assistant (Budenholzer)
Budenholzer > Assistant (Snyder)
Therefore:
Boylen > Snyder
QED.
Uh... that actually doesn't flow, mostly because there's no clarification on the relationship between Boylen and Budenholzer, unless you're implying that since they've both been assistants to Popovich that they're equal (but again that's not spelled out in the above).
If Spurs win it all this year:
Boylen > Budenholzer
Meaning: Boylen > Snyder
Yea because if the Spurs win it was because of Jim Boylen....
All else being equal the Spurs major changes this year were the assistant coaches.

Geez, I can't believe it. Yesterday Lindsey finally cracks open the door to the coaching search, if only just a bit, to reveal the inner organizational workings and perhaps some reasons why there is no coach yet and nobody here posts about it!
The interview was mostly full of the typical non-answer answers, but Lindsey was more candid when Monson asked him why is it taking so long? Lindsey responded by saying it is like a marriage relationship that takes time to build. That one two hour interview is not enough time for the millers to feel comfortable. He also mentioned the difficulties the jazz organization presents because of the extra expectations such as allowing the owner into the locker room after every home game, and commitments to the Jr. Jazz program.
Lindsey explained that he has told Randy Rigby and the Millers that he is a coaching guy, that he likes coaches and can build scenarios around any of the coaches they have interviewed, but they are going to have to help him by choosing a guy they feel they can work with on all the other stuff that is important to them.
Lindsey also revealed that it is very unlikely the jazz keep all three picks. "We are building a team not draft picks", and said that he told his players staff that if they really like a guy at 23 pr 35 then they need to own it and argue for why the jazz should take him instead of using the asset. Adding three young guys to this team does not help us build a team. Strangely he also mentioned that it will be possible, for the jazz to acquire additional 2nd round picks.
I'm going back now to my self imposed ban.

Holy **** you are stupid.
Oof. If allowing the owner into the locker room scares off good coaching candidates, Gail/Greg should commit to staying the **** out of the locker room.He also mentioned the difficulties the jazz organization presents because of the extra expectations such as allowing the owner into the locker room after every home game, and commitments to the Jr. Jazz program.
