Official NJ Nets Watch

I unfortunately had to watch the end of this game. Big block by Humphries along with some horrible decisions down the stretch by Sessions. You deserve to lose when you give up 9 offensive rebounds to Kris Humphries who ended up with an 18 point 23 rebound performance. Oh well, thought the Cavs were going to pull this out but they have less killer instinct than we do currently.

Detroit gave the Heat a game tonight. If only they wouldn't have fell on their faces in the 4th being outscored 25-13 and losing 100-94. The good news is that they get to face the Cavs next.

Still Hope

Latest updat on the Nets. Deron Williams is enduring a huge deal of hardship this season. While it looked as the troubles would be behind him, the wrist injury continues to keep him off the court.
Williams was traded to the Nets in the shocking trade deadline deal. His arrival has made a vital impact on the Nets offense. Sadly, the expectations haven’t quite been fulfilled the potential play the Nets have to offer. Its unfortunate.
In the 8 games played Williams is averaging 14.8 points and 13.4 assists per game with a season total of 20.4 points and 10.1 assists. The numbers don’t indicate the whole picture but Williams production has dropped and the injury has played a role.

Its remains uncertain whether Williams will return for Friday’s game against Dwight Howard and the Magic.
The Nets Team Report has informed Sandiata Gaines will be out with a hip injury. This isn’t the best time to send the news as the frontcourt continues to deplete. Ben Uzoh who was recently shipped to the D-League has been recalled to return to make up for the shortage.
No its not the news Nets Nation wants to hear, however if Williams returns before its all set and done it be fully understandable and admirable his commitment to the franchises success. Could this be a sign? Not sure but one could certainly appreciate the odds.
The season is coming to a close and its preferably recommended to shut it down for the long term. The games are meaningless in terms of playoff aspirations. However, we cannot fail to admire the competitive spirit in Williams if he chooses to step on the court. It’ll definitely give us an opportunity to play spoiler.
Hey if Melo had been in a Net uniform he’d have every reason in the book not to show up period. Hopefully Gaines and D'Will both won't play. Sorry for the advertisement. I could not get rid of it.

Cavs should've beat the Nets in regulation. Refs were letting Lopez do ANYTHING down in the paint late; once he clearly swiped a Cav defender aside with his L arm while putting up a shot, another time he looked like a long-legge NFL G shoulder-blocking a defender in his belly several feet back before putting up a shot. Of course a foul was called on the Cav defender... Yeah, right; the Nets seem to be getting that "star" treatment now...

Somebody has probably said this before in 28 pages, but I think it remains close, but in the final week Detroit picks up a few extra wins to stay in #7. In that stretch the Pistons will play at Washington plus host NJ, Milwaukee and Cleveland. 4 winnable games. They probably won't win them all, but that schedule plus the fact that they are already 2 games up on NJ gives them the edge. Hopefully they use it for the Jazz' sake.

NJ being distroyed by the Hawks. I see them staying at #6. considerable distance from both sides.
