What's new

***Official Ping Pong Day Thread - Tuesday - May 20th - 8 PM ET - ESPN***

I'm pissed.

But someone explain why the **** the NBA would rig the lottery for Cleveland? You people are dumb.

Cuz lebron left, they felt bad, and they love hobbis, and red heads.

Abd cleveland as a city sucks. They pride themselves in helpng to bolster their **** economy. Same would be true for detroit, but detroit is realistically too far gone.

I'm not ecstatic about Cleveland winning, but the odds of the Jazz ending up at 5 were always high. I'm expecting DL to do everything he can to try to move up. Until the draft is over, there's no reason to be stressed or panic. They're lucky to be sitting at 5 instead of 6. Let them scout, evaluate, work the trade angles, see who falls and then draft their highest rated player. Then we can stress.

Good news is that picking top 5 is the highest percentage for getting an All-Star. Jazz will still get a darned good player.

So any feasible way to package the picks and move up? or what...

No but I bet Enes Kanter and 23 could start a conversation about #9.

Charlotte is exploring trade options...

Rick Bonnell @rick_bonnel
It was very clear in the 15 minutes I was on the phone with Higgins (Charlotte GM) that they will explore any and all trade options.

****ign want absolutely nothing to do with Randle at the 5. STFU all of you. My ****ing God. Vonleh, Smart, or trade up or my fandom taks a massive hit. I'd even rather draft Aaron Gordon

I'm serious.

CLE should lose their franchise.

The team sucks.
The ownership sucks.
They have made a mockery of the draft system.
There are better pro-NBA cities that will be, at least, less embarrassment.

So SIlver should disenfranchise them too while they're at it vs Sterling? ;D

Nah I think their owner is very enthusiastic about basketball, like early Cuban.
Just has a horrible idea who to hire or makes horrible personnel decisions himself.

I would not jump off a cliff. There is a pretty high probability that the expert wizards have greatly over sold the greatness of the top players.

We deserved this.

I know it's lame that Cleveland got the #1. They didn't deserve that. but we completely deserve the #5.

All year long folks were upset at Jazz management not firing Corbin and going to full tank mode. Instead, we fooled around and pissed away another season and ended up with another "nice" piece.

Now, we are forced to resign Hayward and our "monster draft" will probably come off the bench next year (Vonleh, Smart, Gordon, and Randle don't start over the stuff we already have).

This upcoming season will have to be what this season was supposed to be: A rebuilding season with a new coach and a full tank.

Our franchise player in 2015 draft awaits!

Ugh in kinda pissed it's the Cavs again. At least give it to the bucks
