The Burks for Lidnour trade isn't happening but it stinks like a trade the Jazz would do. And that is what scares me.
Watch them Trade Enes and Burks for Ramon Sessions and Hakim Warrick or something. The sad part is, it wouldn't suprise me.
Somedays its hard to be a Jazz fan.
Remind me the last time the Jazz made a terrible deal and didn't have the salary cap excuse.

No I wouldn't trade for Boozer, his contract is to much!! Yes, to picking him up from waivers!!
I wonder who other amnesty candidates are. The Jazz could be big players in that area.
Get in line.If the jazz trade Burks for Ridnour or Bynum I will burn this website down.

A jazzman.Excellent shooting stroke... A threat from beyond the arc... Looks for his shot first... Very creative at that... Excels in transition game... Quick hands... Lacks strength... Overmatched physically... No mean streak... Very poor defender.
Trade? Look at all of KOC's moves since Greg took over, trades and FA acquisitions. When has he taken a risk to make the team a playoff contender? Playing Alec at the point is a risk, Ridnour is safe.
This trade would be Safe, reactive, solves a short term problem, 'high character guy', veteran, probably ensures the Jazz make the play-offs, low risk bringing him in, he would fall in line behind Ty & Al's leadership.
Lidnour's Hoopshype profile: A jazzman.
I asked for an example.
The best part of Jefferson to SA is the foot-kissing we'd get to see from Al to Duncan. Think last year's playoffs were bad? just wait until they're team mates.
And I asked you for one. So we are even.
I said it is a nice safe reactive move and that is how KOC has opperated since Greg took over and maybe longer.
The only real risk he took in recent years was trading away an All-star point gaurd who was shopping himself to other teams, and complaining about the coach and managment and then only after nobody would take AK off his hands. A totaly reactive move that traded a guy with some attitude for a rookie and a lamb.
Every player he has recently acquired is a soft nice guy. With the exception of Bell, who was a move of desperation after Mathews was gone, and the market was bare..... and Bell didn't last.
Oh and btw OKC had to get rid of James Harden (3rd pick) and Jeff Green (5th pick) to produce a team whose salaries matched up with a sustainable core.
