So this is the worst week possible for the utes to have a bye, at least for me (which is what matters, right?). After that last game it has already seemed like 2 weeks since it ended and now we have to wait an extra week.

Yeah. I thought he would be a fall camp all star, never play, go on a mission and disappear into irrelevance down south with some other kid that could t make our depth chart.

Man, I was wrong. Love me some Covey. He has been awesome. Terrible run blocker (he missed two blocks vs Oregon that would have been long TD's) but that will come. The rest of his game is amazing. So fun to watch him play.

No, it will just cause us to brace for the inevitable deluge of BYU honks (and Cy) who will cite it as indisputable evidence that Utah is a horrible football team and Utah fans are horrible people.

If you need more evidence of that one, you're just not looking hard enough. Now whether or not Utah is a good football team.....beating Jared Goff will go a long way with me. First healthy good QB you'll have played. Would bode well for future matchups with Bervovici, Rosen, Kesler, and Solomon.

And I for one don't mind if they do all of that nonsense. With where both programs are right now, Ute fans worrying about what BYU fans think of their team seems as silly as Michigan fans worrying about what Western Michigan fans think of theirs.

Guys. Look at the evidence in this thread, the byu homer thread, and the college football thread.
Byu fans (at least on this message board) are pretty respectful, complimentary of the utes, and rarely trash talk ute fans. (Other than maybe a couple)

No need to worry guys. If your team loses you won't hear much from us.
If you win, you will get mostly complimentary posts from us.

Thats great. Where was this humble approach when BYU was good?

You reap what you sow BYU fans, and we'll, rightfully so, remind you of that and treat you as you treated Ute fans for decades.

LOL the only reason the BYU fans are posting like that is that they literally have nothing to brag about. NOTHING. Their team is in trouble, they have nothing whatsoever on Utah. Their season is over, and their rival is better than them in just about every possible way right now. Hard to talk a lot of trash when all of that is hanging over your head. The few BYU fans still posting are mostly the respectful ones. The other's have nothing to talk about.

I dont how byu fans were acting when byu was good. Can you show me some posts from that time on jazzfanz?
Either way, the post i quoted are talking about byu fans coming into this thread and talking trash if the utes lose this season. So we are talking about the present, not the past. So like i said, no need to even have those worries. This is a good thing imo.

Again, I agree with you. Which is why im saying that ute fans have nothing to worry about. Yet bronco still seems to be worried. Im just trying to aleviate his worries and any other ute fans worries.
