You wanna know who's a douche? Hint: It's definitely you

Dude turned down the job he wanted for the sake of his family. Srsly

Except you're wrong.

He applied for a job.
He was offered the job.
He accepted the job.
He backed out of the contract one week later stating he couldn't find affordable housing (on a $200k/yr salary) and he was worried about the schooling.

I'm fine with him helping his kid out, but that was a situation he knew about before, during, and after the process. Douche was too strong of a word, but I would say he lacks accountability and doesn't show strong leadership. I'll guarantee if somebody did this to the Utes, Green would think it was the wrong thing to do.

Am I wrong?

Yeah, you are. I will NEVER fault someone for doing what they feel is best for themselves and their family. I've NEVER ripped on a recruit who decommits. I've NEVER ripped on a kid for transferring.

By the way, I forgot someone on my list:

Kyle Whittingham. He took the job at BYU. Then realized he made a mistake and came back.

Like I said, it happens all the time. It's really not a big deal. It's called life. There isn't black or white. There isn't a definitive right or wrong. Life is full of gray shades, and "right" and "wrong" usually depend on whose side you choose to be on. Mormons believe it was right for Nephi to chop off Laban's head. I'd bet Laban's priests and family thought a little differently towards Nephi.

Honestly, Whittingham is probably a douche. He hasn't done anything in particular but he seems like he probably is. Is Brennan a douche? I don't know? Maybe, but he isn't a douche for backing out of this job.

Regardless, MT State will be ok. The school isn't going anywhere, their athletic department won't crumble. MT State is bigger than Brennan. He is just a man living his life. MT state is an institution. They need to fill a job that lots of talented people want. Srsly you're way overestimating Brennan's importance.

I think that #bern said that brennan said he backed out due to cost of housing. Not due to what he thought was best for his family.

This is a boring argument and one that has to be born from the fact that both fan bases have now finished spring ball and we are officially in the duldrum period.

Let me solve this for you: If you're a BYU fan, and you actually care what's going on with the Utah AAD, you my friend are an *******. If you're a Utah fan, and you care about what's going on with BYU's AAD, you're an ******* too.

I hope this was helpful.

So, basically we're all assholes?

That was one of his reasons.

Look, I'm glad he backed out. His heart clearly wasn't in it. I think it shows a huge immaturity, and lack of accountability and leadership. He never should have accepted, and he ended up wasting the money of MSU, their time, and embarrassing them. Typical Calvin graduate.

What if I'm none of those?

What if I'm none of those?

I can't decide if you not having a horse in this race makes you cool for calling it like you see it, or a bigger ******* because, like, why is this even on your radar man?

I'm gonna pray on it tonight and see how I feel about it in the morning. In the meantime, I'm just really happy that the profanity filter lets ******* slide on by.

But I do have a horse in this race...
