Official Warrior Watch: Draft Pick and Playoff Positioning

The Warriors expect their 16th consecutive sellout tonight, and they're already making plans for the next homestand. oss.ticketmaster.com/html/group_cor…

Thats a difference between Utah and Warriors. They are basically tied with Utah for 6th place, they have cap hell and no pick this year and they are selling out the areana 16 times in a row.

Utah Jazz are tied for 6th place, have cap room, Two 1st round picks, 4 young exciting players, a guy who is about to break the franchise mark for 3pt fgs in a season and a center who shoots 56% in clutch situations and the announced crowd is never a sellout and there are 4-6 thousand fans wearing green plastic every night. Jazz managment has a tough job.

9th in attendance, 4 below the Warriors. Hardly fits the picture you're trying to paint.

Bay Area metro is over 3 million people who are bored after winning the World Series and almost winning the Superbowl. They want to "believe." Also, Jazz fans are spoiled and aren't happy with just making the playoffs. The Warriors fans think making the playoffs is just the greatest thing.

Well this is the 1st time in a while that the Warriors are close to being relevant.

They are dramatically better this year than they were last year and the previous 4 seasons before that and should continue to improve. The Jazz have dragged their feet with where they're going and have stalled. And the Warriors play watchable basketball for more than spurts during the 2nd and 4th quarters.

Bogut out indefinitely:

Not sure if this will help them or not... they were playing better before Bogut came back and struggled to incorporate him into their run & gun offense.

Bogut couldn't guard worth crap at the Jazz game. This hurts our odds.

We're not getting a pick less than 20 from them. Book it.
Agree. W's and Jazz will fight it out for the 6th and 7th seed, with Houston and a few teams from the EC having worse records.

And Bogut is now out indefinitely. That means the W's can go back to small ball; they're better at that than when they were trying to get Bogut involved.

Not so fast.. HOU is ballin' .. Lakers are ballin'.

I hope they leapfrog GSW.
