OKC @ SLC - Utah Jazz Game - 7:00 PM MST on FSOK, ROOT, ZONE

Every player that played tonight for the Jazz shot 50% or better other than Trey. That might never happen again in the nest 2 years

Didn't we want to beat good teams at the beginning of the season?

Hayward hit the last 17 points for the jazz. He also missed like 3 free throws at the end.

You are right as usual! The fans cheering like if we have have qualified for the playoffs! We have even risked to open a game that was amply finished against a team that was playing without 2 of their 3 best players.

LOL who needs a championship when you can get excited beating a team without most of their top players. Where are the banners lets hang them from the rafters!!!!

Tank is not looking good- that said GS dropped a large number of games towards end of season (when they picked Barnes) so theres always hope- otherwise we're one step closer saying sad we never got to know Wiggins or Jabari.
Jefferson and wet bandit are bad for the tank- we can only hope both traded for picks even second round picks will do

Hayward the only Jazz player to make **** in the 4th quarter. He's not in on the tank.

Burks had zero attempts in the 4th I believe (except one shot that he got to the line on)

They were going to hayward every play..... rightfully so

Hayward is going to continue looking better like he does every year as the season goes on. If we keep him, I hope he can figure out how to continue that trajectory into the playoffs.

Great to see the agony of KD, not so great to beat a great team without two key players esp this year.

The Jazz have the worst fans in the league: they just pulled out a hard-fought win, everybody played great, their best big had a poster on Durant, their best wing had a career night... and all they got from the fans is whining and calling them losers. You guys are just pathetic.

Best game of Hayward's career, clutch shot after clutch shot in the fourth. It's like he's making up for all the ****ty 4th quarters he's played all season long.

Watch the Hayward fanboys demand a max contract for him now based on this one game.
Its just one game:)

we really are. it's contagious too.

It is getting ridiculous. Every win spawns at least 3 doom and gloom threads for the franchise.

Was that for real, or was ESPN pulling an early April Fool's? I didn't get to watch the game, stuck at work, but just checked the box score. Durant nearly 50 pts, Hayward nearly 40 and we won? Wow crazy. Would have been fun to watch this one.

On the other hand, we are looking at yet another late lottery pick and endless mediocrity. I do not like this little winning streak, I do not like it, sam I am.

Great game and I really enjoyed it.
Core 5 played together for about 20 seconds total tonight and outscored the thunder 4 to zero lol.

I was pissed when the thunder started coming back early in the 4th due to turnovers by hayward, burke, and jefferson along with some poor shof selection by burke and jefferson...... so corbin takes burks out (who didn't even attempt a shot and was playing team ball) in favor of marvin.

The thunder then quickly cut the lead to 5..... then Marvin fouls out and burks comes back in and the jazz close out the thunder...... thanks to hayward.

What a game by gordon, holy hell

Then Who is Favors going to guard. Durant was playing the 4

How did our other players do guarding durant?
Could favors have done worse? Maybe durant would have scored 80?

Also who in the thunders lineup would guard kanter and favors? Plus we were trying to run clock and play slower

The real Jazz fans he still didn't digest the two finals lost against the Bulls! The Jazz fans is ambitious and don't want that this franchise risk to become as the Bobcast, Kings, Timberwolves and so on...

If we get Jabari or Wiggins we could make the definitive quality leap....the only pathetic thing is to let that recommended clown of Corbin earning his contract extension.

It is getting ridiculous. Every win spawns at least 3 doom and gloom threads for the franchise.

What's ridiculous is that there are still people who prefer these types of wins which only take us further away from obtaining a franchise player. Beating okc without Ibaka and their main engine, Westbrook, isn't anything to be proud of. In the end, it means absolutely nothing other than killing our chances of getting a much needed star player.

There's a huge difference between drafting at 9 or 10 and drafting in the top 3.

Are you really asking this? I understand that we want Kanter to play but there are 0 coaches in the league that play A post player like Favors against Durant 1 on 1. Favors would have fouled out so fast trying to stay in front of him. And we needed Favors rebounding and rim protection with all there quick guards on the floor. Our "other players" didn't do that bad. He only hit three 3 pointer and shot a poor %. He is the league leader when it comes to getting to the line. That is were he got most of his points.

Durant on the other end would be able to guard Kanter just fine with his length. he would have fronted and dared us to throw it over the top.
