My mood hasn't dampened at all. I'm hoping a team out there comes up with a strategy to knock off the Warriors and make them fall flat on their face. I like the idea of a defensive juggernaut playing a slow-paced, physical, grind it out game vs. the Warriors in the playoffs. Dictate the pace, tempo and style of play. Force the Warriors into a half-court game. Limit their transition opportunities. I think they'll run into injury issues as well. With no depth, their starters will have to play more minutes and EVERY team will be gunning for them all year to try to gain an edge.
I'm hoping the Jazz get back to what made them great to finish out the year after they traded Kanter. Their goal should be keeping their opponent under 90 points every game. I think that a better bench will go a long way towards that (especially since Burke and Booker won't be getting any minutes.)
