Oh well. We'll have to hear about the rest from someone who was there.
It was good to see the boys again.
I saw a lot of positives, and only a few minor negatives.
Positives:
-Trey was ok. I thought he ran the offense well pace wise.
He still missed a few shots he should be making, but he also had a few nice scores.
Some people are going to come in here, and say he sucked. Ignore them. I saw some nice improvements, specifically in the way he ran offense compared to summer league.
He made some stupid turnovers, but I liked his body language overall.
-Kanter was moving well, and was very involved. You have to love that. He looked like the best player on the floor a lot of the time.
-Holiday's brother seemed pretty good. Hit some shots, looked pretty smooth/comfortable out there.
-Gobert's strong summer league play carried over here. He just looks like he belongs out there. He's making plays, and impacting the game. You have to wonder
if this is only the beginning. He has real potential.
-Hayward hit some nice long jump shots, and was active. Didn't try to force too much.
-Burks was playing hard. Had some tough luck on a few shots that didn't go for him. He did hit a medium range jump shot with the clock winding down.
-Dominic McGuire had some good shots early. Scoring on drives, and a alley hoop finish (right after Evans had his).
-Machado was impressive. He was probably the best looking PG overall. Ran the offense well, got a couple steals, looked comfortable, etc. He has a nice little floater too.
Negatives:
did Favors play? I don't recall seeing him out there.
