Playoff Game 3: Jazz vs Clippers 8pm Mountain Time ESPN 2

And there were possessions tonight when I thought Favors was going to hug Jordan, ask him for his autograph and thank him for coming to the great state of Utah.

If you look at a lot of the replays of the game I think you will realize it's on the help defense as much as it is on Favors. Maybe Utah's forwards/guards are so use to having to give minimal help to Gobert they aren't use to digging down, but damn, we just gave CP3 way too many 2-on-2 looks in the PNR. We should have been sending someone to help Favors and force Paul to pass.

In the off chance that the Diaw three is ruled to have been a missed and-1 call in the 2 minute report how the **** does the league rectify that?

It won't, and they wouldn't anyway. No such thing as rectifying a missed call other than saying it was missed.

Fun to see some of y'all at the game tonight. A rough one. Hope to see us get a win on Sunday because I'd love this team to see some fruit from their labors. And maybe guys will want to stick around.

It wasn't even close to a continuation.

There are plenty of bad calls to be upset about, but that wasn't one of them.

CPee3 got the EXACT same call. This isn't even a game if the refs call half the **** they missed.

I really don't think the calls are very similar. Willing to admit I'm wrong, but as far as memory currently serves, not very similar.

And the one time Favors played perfect D on a CP3 switch he forced a fade away baseline jumper in the final minute of the 4th, only to have DeAndre Jordan grab a rebound right over Johnson for a trip to the FT line.

Putting it all on Favors isnt right, especially once you rewatch the Clippers scoring plays..

They are similar in the fact that neither should be called shooting fouls. What CP3 did was closer to an offensive foul.

That Diaw foul looked like it should have been a continuation. I got all excited and ****, only to be heartbroken.

Nonetheless, if Gobert gets back, I think we the upper hand for sure. Specially if they lose Griffin and his point production.

It was continuation. That was a bs call.

Which highlights the problem of the Jazz ever switching someone else on DeAndre. Any soft miss around the rim, Jordan can rebound over anyone not named Derrick Favors, which is a big reason why Favors is so hesitant to ever leave Jordan.

Favors on three days rest looked older than Boris...Favors on one day of rest could be a long long long night on sunday.
