Or win the lottery and get a top 3 pick..... cant happen if we make the playoffs.
 
We're not getting Burke with our picks and since we only have the C4 + Marvin + Jeremy signed next season, a trade is unlikely unless it involves the c4.
 
I want to miss the playoffs but not because I want Burke. Instead, making the playoffs increases the odds that Corbin, Mo, Jefferson and Millsap will all be brought back. I'd rather have none and losing will help that.

I'm a no for the playoffs.

MCW not getting any love at the moment on YouTube so no individual highlights at all over the Indiana or the Marquette game, even though he has been superb in those 2 games in my opinion.

Indiana game: 24pts, 1asts, 5rebs, 4stls, 1 TO, 1 Blk, 9-19 FG, 3-6 3pt

Marquette game: 12pts, 6asts, 8rebs, 5stls, 1 TO, 1 Blk, 4-9 FG, 1-1 3pt

Here is a small sample of what he did in the Marquette game at the 1.36 min. mark onwards

1) passing in transition; and
2) off the dribble drive to the basket and using his long stretch arm to finish over a defender:

0.15 min. mark (steal & finish), 0.50 min. mark (drive & finish), 1.25 min. mark (drive & finish over Oladipo).

We could easily trade our pick + gsw pick to move up about 5 spots.

Or S&T Millsap/Jefferson for a pick.

kkk, do you always ignore everything around you? Playoffs or no playoffs we ain't getting Burke.

Can't s&t before July 1st. Any under the table agreements Stern would punish you by fines and future picks. KOC could easily use the GS pick though to move up, but doubt it gets him more than a few spots. He probably likes Burke enough to do it though.

I'm not sure if it matters who we draft...

Under Sloan, I could see Williams really flourishing like deron did. I could see literally 4-5 pgs drafted find success here. But under Corbin, I could see us trading up, grabbing Burke, and still have a bad offense. I think that Corbin is that bad of a coach. Our system used to make bad players good. Now it makes good players bad. It used to get us good high percentage shots. Now, it gets us difficult and low percentage shots. I get that devin and mo aren't exactly Stockton. But ask yourself, what would Stockton look like in our p&r absent system? How great would he look merely passing the ball and waiting 23 seconds for al to kick the ball out for a force 3? What about those elbow jumpers or cuts that hornacek and harpring made a living on? They don't exist anymore. We play too slow and rely too much on jumpers.

While Sloan had the potential to make crap look good Corbin has the potential to make good look like crap. I seriously wonder if even Burke could make this horrible system look good?

More than new players we need a new coach.

You just agreed with me as why we should not make the playoffs, no more Corbin.
 
When you stop and think about it, point guards really aren't in super high demand this year.

Orlando: No good PG, will most likely snag Smart.
Cleveland: Kyrie Irving

Minnesota: Ricky Rubio

Maybe Utah will get super duper lucky.

This is exactly what I've been saying for the longest time.

- Orlando is likely to get top 3 pick and will get one of Noel, McClemore or Bazz.
- Kings - not sure if they're 100% sold on Isiah. They also picked Jimmer when they already had Tyreke.
- Dallas - if they can get Burke for cheap - why overpay Collison?

That's why my thinking was, if we make the playoffs over Dallas, there's less chance on getting Burke. If we can at least stay ahead of Dallas, we've got a better chance at Burke.
