The other thing about DMC3 and Ninja Gaiden vs GoW3 is, of course, the difficulty. GoW3 is part of the new breed of game design that's constructed so most people can beat it with a little dedication and not too much effort. That's not to say that's necessarily a bad thing... Resident Evil 4 actually wasn't overly difficult either with the ability to continue from basically anywhere, but it's one of my favorite games ever.GD! we have similar tastes and opinions as far as games, those two (DMC and NG) I thought played very similar. I also thought they would do *may get spelling wrong* of Omnishu since the PS3 came out as that game seemed similar to DMC and NG but then maybe that's why they didn't.
Crazy about PSN though I heard it went down some time on Tue (4/20) and I was on PSN early that day downloading an update for DA2 so I must have caught it just before it happened.
DMC3 and NG, though... those are just brutal. I keep going back because they'll always be challenging, and I know I can always keep improving. Demon's Souls is actually kind of the ultimate form of that, but I sometimes hesitate to recommend that one, because for some people it seems so hard and unforgiving that it's more like work than fun. But if you buckle down really learn how to play well, it's a consistently amazing experience.
BTW, a great article came out recently about the sequel to Demon's Souls, rather unoriginally titled Dark Souls: https://www.next-gen.biz/features/dark-souls-preview. Unlike Demon's Souls, which was a PS3 exclusive, Dark Souls will also be on X-Box 360. I really can't wait, it looks all kinds of awesome.
