Please fire Snyder and get a real coach in the summer

HAHAHAHAHA. Jesus I love fans sometimes. This complete freak show of a thread is why it is entertaining to read this site sometimes. I love that fans care about the team but holy **** get a grip. It's not always going to be pretty, and the team is going to lose. Especially when they are the youngest team in the league and have suffered more than their fair share of injuries to key players.

Cools pics of a cool guy. Leave him alone.

By the standards of other NBA franchises, Quin Snyder would be on the hot seat. The "we are the youngest team in the league" excuse doesn't hold a ton of water anymore. Hayward and Favors are in their 6th year in the league. They are veterans at this point. You can blame the management for the bench situation. The bench is very thin and the lack of moves over the Summer to improve the team falls squarely on Lindsay and management.

I don't know if Quin Snyder is doing any better or worse than what other coaches would do in Utah, but I would like to see the Jazz do something meaningful before I hear how great of a coach he is. Corbin wasn't a great coach, but he was getting roasted during the 12-13 season for underachieving when if you look at the preseason expectations, more people were predicting this team to achieve more than that team was expected to before that season. Snyder may sound more intelligent in interviews and have a more sophisticated playbook, but when it comes to results on the court he has not shown to be much of an upgrade over Corbin.

I am not calling for him to be fired, but his honeymoon is over. Since he was hired we have been told from the media, front office, and many fans of how great of a coach he is and how we were lucky to get him. Spence Checketts even said on his radio how he was worried a big market team was going to come in and steal him. It is time for him to prove to us how lucky we are.

he can't coach players who aren't taking the court or who have only one good leg or shouldn't actually be in the NBA

If you are trying to build a franchise you don't. Look I get it. The win now mentality. Instant gratification. It's the way people see things now. But it isn't reality. You fire the coach and the next coach could be better on paper, but doesn't mean the players will trust him. Or that the offense and defense is automatically better. If you want to win in a small market, it's best to be patient and allow the team to grow up together. But again that win now mentality is son of a bitch.

It hasn't been pretty for 6 years. Fans expected improvement this year (I didn't) and instead got stagnation and are losing all hope in this joke of a rebuild. They thought these players could honestly compete for a 4th-5th seed this season, and top 3 by next. What do you expect from a 28-32 team that looks to have peaked internal growth? I predicted this meltdown at the beginning of the season.

To top it off, Snyder can't build an offense to save his life and cannot write up late clock inbound plays. Want to know why we play such slow pace? Because Quin has installed an offense suitable to college and lower, not the NBA.

Interesting take. I think the vast majority of this board expected to be a 7-8 seed this year 4-5 next year and then hoping we could compete for a 2-4 seed for a few seasons after that. Seems like we are still on track for that.

Do you have any stats that prove we are stagnant from last season? It seems we have a much better record than we did at this time last season despite lots of injuries and missing our starting PG for the season. Also do you have any stats that show the Jazz are ineffective in late clock inbound plays? This one I would be curious how we rank next to other teams.

I was under the assumption we had a slow pace because we are a defensive team who want to limit the number of possessions. When Gobert was out and even when Favors was out we played at a much higher pace, seems like he is adjusting to what our team is.

Corbin was not getting roasted for under achieving. He was continually getting torched for stupid plays, stupid rotations and not playing the superior players instead opting to play less talented older players.

HAHAHAHAHA. Jesus I love fans sometimes. That complete freak show of Fire Ty is why it is entertaining to read this site sometimes. I love that fans care about the team but holy ****. You don't know the first thing about bball offense, rotations, or judging who is or is not a superior player. Get a grip

I have a grip. I wonder how your boy has been since the Jazz let him go....That's right he got fired from his next job in only months.

This offense would be humming under Corbin, and the defense would be every bit as solid. We wouldn't jack up shots in end of game scenarios. Sorry you hate winning.

Was this prediction before or after Exum's injury? It's strange, what with your opinions of Exum being overrated and Trey Burke being ready to take off in a better system. Seems weird to predict the team would get worse without Dante and an improved Trey Burke.

Before. Your second two paragraphs are not an accurate portrayal of anything I've said regarding Trey.

This is just stupid. What we got was a truckload of games missed due to injury, a weak bench that DL chose not to improve in the off season, and a bunch of very close losses.
