What's new

Please fire Snyder and get a real coach in the summer

And then they should've fouled Klay. And whoever got the rebound and passed it to Klay right after.

Fine, Klay makes them both. He is an elite shooter as well. He is a great FT shooter and has makes them in the clutch.

Maybe they should have fouled the rebounder but he is shooting .84% and that is on the players to understand the situation and make the right decision. Very good chance that he told them to foul certain players if they got the ball.

Before he shoots it. See? Simple as pie.

He caught it and shot it before anybody could get to him. There was no time to foul. That's sorta what happens when you force the ball out of Curry's hands - somebody else is going to be open.

And then our players shoot their FTs. And you believe that they can make them. I mean, goodness me, I coach sports. If you don't trust your players, what's the point?

And you can't make coaching decisions based on assumptions. Just like how Gobert wasn't it because of fears that he'd get fouled after rebounding and miss free throws. Why are you getting ahead of yourself and worrying about FTs. Worry about securing the rebound first. Without the rebound, there is and indeed there was no free throw. Same thing with this. If the Warriors hit the three, there are no free throws. Foul, go on from there. One play at a time. Or put Rudy in. Or lure the Warriors in with a free lay up opportunity.

He didnt have Gobert out there because he doesn't guard the 3 point line well.

They shoot better than us in FTs and especially tonight and especially in clutch situations.

He did trust the players. He trusted them to play good defense, which they did. The only one to blame on that play is ingles for running out for some dumb reason after the miss. He trusted that worse case they make it and we get the last shot to win and he trusted we could make that. Your idea to foul and play the foul game shows you dont trust our defense to make stops and that we cant make offensive plays and hope we can out shoot them at the FT line when that is statistically unlikely with the players on the court.

I don't know how else to communicate to this guy that getting into an FT contest with a dramatically better FT-shooting team would not be to our advantage. Even if the Jazz weren't struggling from the line as badly as they were, it would've been a stupid idea.

I'm also not sure how else to explain to him that forcing the ball out of Curry's hands away from an open 3 point shooter is really ****ing hard when all four other Warriors players on the court are also solid 3 point shooters.

Maybe NBA coaches aren't as dumb as you're making them out to be. Maybe you just suck at basic math.

If Snyder doesn't learn how to control Curry and all those three's than we need to can him. Why is it that every team can control curry and get him to collapse during game time, but Snyder can't? We are the only unsuccessful team in the NBA that hasnt learned to stop Curry. His shots flow like milk shakes and his hair smells like cinnimon. Disgusting. Break his legs.

Lakers beat Golden State.

Byron Scott >>> Quin Snyder.
And Scott will probably be available this summer.

Again, what is with you people talking about Curry? Why would the Jazz foul him instead of forcing the ball out of his hands? He can't just wait for the foul, they are down 3!

It's like I'm talking to children here.

Who you callin' "you people?"

Yeah, blame the coach for losing in overtime to the best team in NBA history without his best big when the team shoots 13/29 from the line.

Unbelievable.
It's always the teachers/coaches/parents fault! And btw, **** you!

Oh wait, it's April fools day. Good one jim

Warriors down by 3 with the ball, 8.3 seconds left, and the Celtics didn't foul.

Please fire Brad Stevens and get a real coach in the summer.

Boston just beat GS!
But Celtics were unable to prevent a couple of quick three's by the Warriors just as Utah failed to do so. Difference is Boston made shots down the stretch and GS missed some opportunities. Big TO's by both teams that could have swung the game either way.

No, the difference was Golden State missed two shots in a row to tie it. Against us the Warriors missed the 1st one, but hit the 2nd one.

Once again. **** our stupid coach. Jazz up 3 with 20 seconds to go, and what does he do? Does he foul, therefore preventing a 3? Does he instruct his players to give up a layup if need be, but guard the three? Nope, he draws up a defensive setup to give up a three, give up an offensive rebound, then give up another 3.

**** him and all of you idiots who support him. Bring back Jerry Sloan. I don't care how senile or demented he is.

Yeah... Blame the coach for that offensive rebound and blame coach for Ingles trying to leak out for no good reason leaving Thompson open for the tie. Oh, and it's the coaches fault the Jazz couldn't hit an ft to save their lives.
