The odds that Joel Embiid is great are better than that of some (and very unlikely to get) late 1st-rounder becoming great. Or certainly a random second-rounder.
My gut says Burke deserves the chance to see the floor in the jersey again and that his value probably isn't high enough that you can get back a piece you can be confident becomes a worthy roster spot. If he keeps playing the way he has, the Jazz aren't out much of an opportunity on the market. It favors the Jazz to see this through given the gambling math here.
I sure hope the guy I saw in 2013 shows up though.
