i dont know bledsoe well but Burks simply isnt a good fit for this team, either he or Hayward has to leave, because they arent ideal duo at 2-3 which i definitely prefer Hayward. We should simply trade Burks before he is free agent, so we can get something in return for the sake of his good talent

I don't mind Tinsley as a 3rd PG. The problem is the Jazz have an idiot HC who would actually put damn near any 3rd PG ahead of Burks in the rotation for some bizarre reason. Maybe the Jazz could sign a 45 year old Rusty LaRue in the hopes that Corbin isn't dumb enough to play him in front of Burks.

Rusty larue is 45?

Have to say I'm a bit surprised by the results this far (20-8 no). Not surprised that there's a lot of hope for Burks still, but that Bledsoe's support here seems so lukewarm.

I suspect that if you asked the Clips fans this question it would probably be 95% saying Burks isn't enough for Bledsoe.

Burks would be at least as good as Klay Thompson (albeit in different facets) if he was given the confidence and the green light from the get go, instead of stupid *** Corbin mind **** dog house ******** bench assignments. Maybe not quite as good, but easily a double-digit scoring up and comer. I'm still pissed with how we ****ed with him this year.

Or he'd be a 35% Jamal Crawford chucker type.

Burks can and will be a star given the time and experiance ... we know what Blodsoe can do and I just dont see him doing anything other then playing backup somewhere for alot of cash

Bledsoe isn't the best match for our bigs, this is more or less a fact. He is a slashing PG, not a pick and roll type. His assist to turnover ratio last year is 1.70, that ranks 49 out of 50th for point guards. He is also about to get PAID. Cuban could offer this guy near max next year which would leave us squirming having only a year to evaluate him.

We'd be a better team with bledsoe instead of burks next year, but I like burks too much to trade him.

Really? Burks can put up 20/7/6 and defend two or three positions.

Wow. I like Burks, but that's incredibly optimistic. Hope you're right.

(It's actually Bledsoe's numbers that look most like this currently -- 20/7/7, but per 48. Burks per 48 is close behind in scoring, rebounding; farther behind in assists.)

I don't know. I don't think we've seen enough of Burks (thanks Ty) to really make an informed decision. My impression is that they're actually fairly similar players but Burks is bigger. I don't think the Clips do it, though, as they're more likely to be trading for immediate contribution and - again - I don't think he's been given enough of a chance to prove he can contribute in a consistent or immediate sense. Millsap S/T and Burks they might do (except that the salaries probably don't work or make sense any longer).

But again, I don't know. I find Burks fascinating.

Burks put up numbers like that a couple times this year. He won't average that.
