oh please dude. Every time we hit a mini-run, Lillard comes back with a 3 off the dribble. Been breaking our back.


Also notice what the coach said at half-time. Lillard and CJ are not seeing the bodies of our bigs after we penetrate. Singled out our big-man defense as the culprit. Which anyone with eyes and a brain would notice.

It's about more than one game bro. We don't have the perimeter players to keep up with the guards in the West.

Portland with 19 FTAs, Utah with 8.

We've been sloppy on both ends, but the refs are making it that much worse.

I'm in agreement. Said nothing about the big playing well. Just said we are losing on the perimeter, and we are. I'd like to see really aggressive play on the perimeter, I've been saying it all game.

I don't agree with the fact of letting McCollum beat us, cause he can.

it really isn't above average. It's lifted by team defensive schemes and the rest of the squad being spectacular defensively.

The same stats saying Curry was good last year will say the same about Burke after the all-star break.
 
Frustrating game to watch. Favors, Hood and Favors have all been really quiet. Burke is playing really well which is great otherwise we would be screwed.
Our elite defense is allowing 58% shooting. That ain't gonna cut it at all. And don't get me started on the refs, I feel like someone might go and punch a ref here at the arena

you're telling me if Curry played in every team in the NBA, that he would lift their defensive play? Get real bruh. When you play with Bogut, Green, Thompson, Iguodala, Livingston then even Mo Williams would look good on D.

Yes, we are. Lillard shoots over Burke (and Neto) as easy as shooting over a chair.

I'm not saying they're on the same pedestal. I'm mentioning teams with good defense despite no defensive stalwarts at the 1. Curry being considered one is laughable IMO. Gets a ton of steals, which again is a reflection of his team defense. He's not in the same stratosphere as Conley, Paul. etc.

Yes I remember when the majority on this board was acting like losing Exum was no big deal. I miss the kid because I think our defense is not as good without him. Blazers are on fire hopefully they will cool off.
