prediction: OKC will make a strong play for Dwight Howard

They'll dangle Westbrook and Perkins + picks, and they'll agree to Westbrook and Ibaka + picks. They'll even throw in their second-year center from Kansas with the goofy shot, whose name.escapes me. Then, the Jazz are screwed ...

Jackson/Maynor
Sef/Harden
Durant
Perkins
Howard

orlando wouldnt agree less than westbrook+harden+perkins+ picks and that would mess oklahoma team up. They would go rather for more logical targets. And im bored of seeing 2 superstars in one team anymore. Miami, lakers, new york are the most annoying teams in the league for me right now

I'd like to see Orlando do better than
Westbrook + Ibaka + Aldrich + picks

I HOPE I'M WRONG HERE. TRUST ME. I JUST HAVE A BAD FEELING ABOUT THIS....

Durant leaves a lot to be desired. I think he was exposed this year.

Great 3 point scorer and FT shooter.

Not a leader, soft, and a player that cannot get it done in the playoffs.

If he adds more weight, defense, physicality, and maybe a driving game, then he'll be scary. But as of right now, he's just a 7 foot spot up shooter to me.

Westbrook and Harden scare me far more. If we can get those two guys outta OKC, that would be wonderful.

Dwight and Durant might be good. But not nearly as good as a Westbrook, Harden, and Durant core that actually figures out how to play together (which they might never).

Can't get it done in the playoffs? The team went from their first playoff appearance last season (and played well against L.A. in that series I might add) to winning the first two rounds this year and making the WCF where they lost to the eventual NBA champs. Individually, Durant scored 28.6 points per game (in over 42 minutes per contest I might add), and had 8.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 0.8 steals per playoff game as a kid who's not even 1.5 years older than Gordon Hayward. Think about that. Durant's just 22 years old and leading his team to the WCF. I don't see this as luck of the draw like we had with a young Deron in his first year as the starter who just happened to get Golden State in the 2nd round. Were the Grizz the #8 seed too? Sure, but as I see it, they weren't just riding some wave.

I see this as the natural arc that most young studs take en route to their first ring. Jesus, it took Jordan years 'til he got it, the team around him evolved AND they had the right coach in there. The taste of some playoff success and his own natural improvement, Westbrook and Ibaka and Harden's improved games, a healthier Perkins and an improved bench here or there should do wonders for them. The fact that I am even defending him and that you say he leaves a lot to be desired boggles my mind. I'm not saying his games is beyond improvement but find me one other player under 25 who you'd rather have. Derrick Rose? Sure, I'll give you that. Who else?

Holy piss, you're dumb.

Well said, except I'd rather have KD than Rose.

Durant is 22, guy.

The Jazz got more for Williams then that. I see Howard comanding more in return then Williams did, but who knows.

The Jazz didn't get a player of Westbrook's caliber (yet anyway) in the trade. He averaged about 22/8/5 last year. And he's 22! Derrick Rose averaged 25/8/4. Very comparable players!

Here's the catch though--Howard has to agree to sign an extension, so he can effectively choose where he wants to go.

The season hasn't even started and Chris Paul is saying he wants to go to NYC.
