Start of his 2nd season? Yes, I guess you can count taking on a team in disarray, bringing in a ton of new players and 30 games as a fair full season.
Also, don't forget Sloan had a good team handed to him by Layden. Not exactly the same situation as a coach trying to build a team from basically draft picks. Corbin MAY turn out to be a bust. But it's WAY too early to tell. I doubt Corbin has told all his players to just try to go one-on-one and not pass. The learning/reaction curve on the defensive end is also going to take some time. Corbin is asking players to change the way they've played (at least the Jazz vets) from Day 1.

With all of the off-season work these guys did focusing on shooting, losing and/or gaining weight, being the first to practice to work on leadership, etc...I would have expected that 2012 Jazz would have been different than 2011 Jazz. What gives?

I like what I've seen from the young guys.
Utah's offense looks really bad, they aren't clicking, or moving.
Is it because the offense is new to them, they are new, or just that this is the first pre season game?
