XBox will sell more units as it has more major FPS titles.

I personally will get a PS4 as I like a number of PS exclusive franchises.

Just read this...

In a Q&A on their press site for the new Xbox, Microsoft tackles the always-on question with a strangely-worded answer: "No, it does not have to be always connected, but Xbox One does require a connection to the Internet.

DON'T WANT!

Just finished watching the announcement and my opinion that PS4 is the better choice is definitely cemented. It's pretty apparent that Microsoft's goal with the Xbox One is multimedia as apposed to gaming and for some people, families, the Xbox One is right on the money. But for me, the fact that they spent the majority of the time talking about everything other than gaming, and showed only two Xbox One exclusives, I'm not sold. The PS4 is the clear choice for anyone who wants to buy a video game console FOR the video games. The PS4 will have much better and many more exclusives than the Xbox One, just like last-gen. The games that will sell the best on the "XO"(?) will be available on the PS4 as well.

I'm for sure gonna buy the PS4 and wont have any regrets like I did when I bought a 360.

Seems like a risky move to call it Xbox One. I know many hardcore gamers won't be persuaded, but it seems like the name may sound inferior in the casual's ears.

Also, when will Playstation stop making ****ty controllers? The analog sticks are placed in ****ed up spots. The Xbox's controller is far superior IMO.

Both systems are pretty much the same minus a couple of exclusive titles (Uncharted vs Halo the biggest one prolly). I love watching nerds get worked up over their alliances. You will have a lot of fun with either game console.

I read a comment on a site.. "Is it called Xbox One because they took 359 steps backwards?"

Which is gonna be better for NBA 2k14?

Either one. But if you plan on buying it as a used game or borrowing future NBA 2K games from friends, buy a PS4 because you'll have to pay a fee for used games on Xbox One.

Halo?

And what is wrong with always on, always connected? Your phone is always on, always connected..

I'm talking about the Call of Duties and the mainstream games. Those usually tend to sell well when a console doesn't have many exclusives.

Not everyone has the internet and not everyone has a strong connection. I don't think the strong connection will matter with the XO because if reports are right, you only need to connect once a day. But still, not everyone has the internet. I read an article that brought up a very good point, military members who are overseas often have consoles but many don't have internet connection. What are they suppose to do during downtime when they want to play a game but they can't because they have to connect to the internet when no internet connection is available?

Their reveal presentation yesterday was terribad. I have both a 360 and a PS3 but I hardly ever touch the 360. Bad UI, subscription based online play, no internal wireless card, generally feels kind of cheap. I loved the OXBOX. Just a huge step down in overall quality. Maybe they learned something from it but probably not.
