Naw, tater = reference to a potato in this instance. I will choose not to delve any further into this, as I don't wanna reveal the identity of this account. Not tatermoog.

Blech, I'm already 1-for-1 on getting him banned, and dammit I'm tired, but I think I'm down to try for number 2.

Oooh, and then this gem:

So, you're not going to give me the respect of my own opinion? How un-Christ like of you.

Like I said, you're a ****ing moron and a walking parody. Drop the "I'm practically a professor and have studied every text available, while sipping latte's at Starbucks between 9 hour sessions of WoW" bit, it's obnoxious.

Spazz and I had an interaction that didn't need you.

Besides, what is so wrong with allegedly? Do you think the textual account of what he did captures the full meaning of the act? Doesn't 'allegedly' add a good amount of mystery and openness? Also, do you think the bible records ever single moment of Jesus' life? Probably not.

Hahaha yup, you're definitely thinking of the right person. I say hold back, his contributions have been great as of late.

Posts like this tend to work against you when you're trying to have educational religious discourse with people who have beliefs different to yours. I know I tend to get along with most of the resident Mo's perfectly fine, despite being far from one.

grow up 30+ years ago in the suburbs of SLC when you are the only non-mormon. When you accomplish that, get back to me.

Alberta is nowhere near the island that SLC was/is. thxthough

I think placing the word allegedly intentionally several times, in bold, in a persons post can come across as quite condescending, especially when coupled with the "now you can continue" remark. There are better ways to communicate your viewpoints, without (accidentally, from what I can tell) coming across as an ***.

Fair and balanced comment right here;

Christians - Tend to hide behind simple faith and belief in God and usually answer complex questions with answers like, 'because.'

Athesists - Tend to be self-described intellectual elitists that hide behind challenges such as 'Prove it' when faith is not required to prove.

Grew up in a German Bilingual school for twelve years, and was continuously picked on for being the only non-Christian kid with non-German parents in the school. Rumors were spread (and I was picked on a lot for it) about my uncle being one of the plane operators who crashed the plane into the WTC during 9/11. It might not have been as bad as SLC (since I never lived there, so I cannot compare), but you shouldn't assume that my life is much much easier than yours. High School was probably the first time where I felt comfortable embracing my faith in class, as opposed to choosing to stick to singing Christmas Carols and stuff, out of fear from getting bullied.

what about the 300 posts before that one which all assumed a man-like creator of the universe? Isn't it conceivable that assumption sounds asinine?

No, again, more wrong from you.
That might be the first time someone dared insult me.
Spouting off in a public forum in ways the pre-condition the limits of a conversation (for example, we are going to discuss spirituality, but only under the banner of the Christian Godhead), should be challenged.
If you're going to try to sound like you're smart, at least form your sentences so people can read them. Secondly, stop trying to sound like you're smart. We may look dumb, but I promise you, nobody is falling for it.
You, for one, should know what it's like to come swinging into a place you're not welcome. I'm surprised you aren't pos repping the hell out of me. But, I don't expect consistency from you.
I honestly can't say that I know the feeling of not being welcome. I usually know before hand if I'm not welcome, and then act accordingly. As for rep, why would I rep the drivel that you're writing in this thread? You've basically stated that your way is right, and that anything to the contrary is wrong. You've talked down to people because of their beliefs and have made it a point to be a prick. Like I said before, you've been rep'd accordingly.

As for consistency, man, ask Catratcho about it... I had fresh Wiper (White Bass / Striped Bass Hybrid) for dinner the other night, and it went through me like water through a goose.

actually, I didn't... but you were talking about 'Mo's in Alberta. I was talking about 99% Mormon crowds from 30 years ago in a different place.

Just making sure you knew I meant 'far' geographically. You knew that, right?

Nice try, I knew exactly what you meant there. Its okay, i appreciate the compliments <3

Of course it does. If it didn't, then religion would be void of faith.

I was referring to the Mormons on this forum, actually. Sorry for the ambiguity. What I was saying is that I seem to get along perfectly fine, and converse with these posters fairly seamlessly about faith, in stark contrast from what we are witnessing with you in these past couple of pages.

I talked down to Conan. We have a history of talking smack. But go ahead and assume that is some general characteristic I have.

And, thanks for getting your panties in a giant wad when I made a comment implying that the Bible might not be the ABSOLUTELY LITERAL, WORD-FOR-WORD RECOUNTING OF EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED IN JESUS' LIFE. Gosh, what a thing to do.

oh, ok. So you were comparing your experiences on a message board with growing up in a place.

Im not saying your point is wrong, since I obviously have no way of disproving it. Rather, I am simply stating that there are better ways for you to communicate your ideas, without making it seem like you're belittling the opinions of others.

It's all starting to make sense now. I freaking LOVE the cry babies that blame SLC and TEH MORMONZES!!! for all of their life struggles. Boo ****ing Hoo. Way to be a condescending douche bag though, it makes it so much easier to dislike you.

So, you think it's asinine to believe that a man-like creator made the universe. Good for you. Stop telling people how wrong and stupid they are because they believe it.
