I haven't ever smoked so I don't have any advice for you--but good luck! It's a killer addiction to break, but as I'm sure you realize your overall health will improve by leaps and bounds.
I quit for several extended periods before finally giving it up for good about 7-8 years ago IIRC. Cold turkey is the only way to go IMO. Stay away from Las Vegas and Mexican resorts for at least 6 months or you'll relapse.
Thanks colton.
I feel like I'm hitting that age when I need to probably start thinking about retirement and being old or I won't achieve either.
I've been a smoker for 14 years. I've probably been a two pack a day smoker for the better part of a decade. I went and got me an e-cig but it isn't the same. I haven't had a smoke in a day and half and I'm starting to get antsy.
Has anybody here quit?
Good luck to you. I had a friend who took the money he would spend on smokes and put it in a box. Having the visual of what he was saving really helped him quit. The thought of not spending $12-15 per day on a couple of packs would be enough for me to make a concerted effort.
Only thing harder than quitting smoking is starting flossing
As far as the physical addition...... just smoke crack or meth whenever you feel like smoking something.
I use the e-cig and I'm going to ween myself down. They have different nicotine levels. The highest level(which is what I have) doesn't replace actually smoking, though. So maybe I'll get some crack too![]()
