R.I.P. 2014 Tank

They'll still be a bottom 5 team. They've looked good these past two games, but don't discount the fact that they still have Corbin running the show. DL will get aggressive around the deadline and take away some if Ty's toys. I expect them to try as hard as they can to win. They're all coaching and playing for their jobs and contracts. There's too much talent to have the worst record. Thankfully, the worst team rarely gets the top pick. As long as they wind up in the top 7 they should make out okay. Hopefully the Tankers blow up and drop into the lottery so the Jazz get more shots at a top 3 pick.

Almost impossible to get a bottom 5 record without using shady tactics.

Our ONLY chance of finishing that bad was to start off way worse than everyone. We were always going to close the season stronger than any of the other tanking teams.

****.

When you see Lucas getting back in you know tank is back on. Problem is Garrett is a good enough back up that it's just blatant playing Lucas over him

Tbh I can't wait till we lock up the 8th seed. Rebuild = done bishes, we have our leader (he, Black Jesus, PBUH)

Props to Alf for making me laugh even though I'm considering going on a killing spree right now.

You won't get to see us trade our 14th overall pick for a future 1st on NBA draft night come June if you did that. The suspense will be captivating.

We need another major piece. It doesn't have to be on the same level as Durant. But we do need a legit no.1 option (Burke ain't it).

Quite honestly: What makes you think that Burke won't be it? I'm curious to hear your insight.

This game was a fluke. The Jazz will rarely ever shoot like that. Also the Rockets were missing Parson's.

Lets not get carried away.

Some truth in there....... I hope

While other teams will be drafting LeBron, Melo, Wade, and Bosh, the Jazz will be picking from the likes of Mike Sweetney, TJ Ford, and Jarvis Hayes with the 8th pick.

****ing awesome.

I'm not sure having your PG as your no.1 option is effective for a contending team. Can you think of any such examples? Maybe a big PG like Magic or Westbrook, but someone with Burke's size and skill set? He seems to have amazing ball handle, and he can really split the defense for a lay up or a push out for an open team mate. But if the team does not have a legit scorer (I don't think Hayward can play as well he did tonight on consistent basis), then teams will just collapse the defense on him and have other Jazzers beat them. I love Burke, and I see him eventually becoming our Parker. Hayward is our Ginobili. But we still need our Duncan.
