But the judgement I was gay was based off this cartoon so....

Anyway I don't give a ****. If you were a boy and had cartoon network cable tv you most likely liked powerpuff girls. This wasn't my little pony or carebears. It was a well written and animated cartoon.

I also liked Teen Titans, another one I remembered.

At first Im like... They are jerking with me...

What with Power Puff Girls and all.

I have never even heard of that cartoon. It takes some guts to admit you watch something called that. And alot of those other ones I haven't heard of either. They are like little kid cartoons. You guys are either young or have kids.

What? Has no one seen Robot Chicken? Or Drawn Together? These are crazy funny cartoons, on in the present time.

How old are you? If you where a kid in the 90's and had cable, you probably know who the Powerpuff Girls are. Not saying I still watch it (thought I probably would if it was on for nostaligia sake), just it stands out as one of my favorites from when I was a kid.

No we didn't have cable when I was growing up. We were really poor.

It was basic tv most of my life til I was 18 and moved out.

Growing up it was cartoons like ducktales

I'm 21. So you would have been a teenager when this came out, so I can see why you don't have a nostalgic connection to it.
 
ya just watched the video. No offense, but that cartoon sucks. haha What's up with the commentator? Im just playing. Im sure if I went back and watched some of the old ones I watched when I was younger like HE Man, it would seem pretty lame. That's why I made this thread about adult cartoons. I can't watch kid cartoons anymore. Doesn't do anything for me.

I disagree about what you said about South Park falling off. I think they just keep getting better. Those guys are right on top of making fun of social issues and things recently in the news. The episodes can't come out fast enough.


Ya for us older folks cable was a lot harder to come by. It seems anyone can afford it now days. Heck, I think government might pay for it if you want them too. haha

I was really disappointed with the last season. They have good moments here and there, but not nearly as good as they use to be.
 
I try to like family guy but just can't.

I hear the venture brothers are good but have never watched it. Anyone watch it?

Also another good one is Batman animated series and also Gargoyles.

Currently:

1. Phineas and Ferb
2. Looney Tunes
3. Spongebob

I don't count Family Guy or the Simpsons as true cartoons, just because they are geared more towards adults. Or at least the Simpsons was during the "classic" seasons (2-10, after that it just got stupid). Unfortunately, for me, the Simpsons jumped the shark a long, long time ago...but during it's heyday it was the best written show on television.
