REALGM: Joe wants out

Hayward was an All Star and made playoffs. Donovan Has done none of the thus far. Get Real!

Hayward did what in the playoffs? Yeah he shyed away for Joe Johnson to take us to round 2. He only became an all-star because of the talent around him made him look better than he really was. DM has already scored more points than Hayward's career high in one game and has more consecutive 20 + Games. Oh yeah and how many players have come to praise Hayward throughout his career as Donovan got in his half a season? I rest my case. Plus DM has more skill and heart than Hayward will ever possess.

Hope Utah doesn't do to JJ what the team did to Raja; that was a complete lack of class on the part of Greg Miller.

Buyout should be simple...his current salary less what he'd earn for the rest of the year at the vet minimum. If he pockets a bit extra by going to a tram that pays him more, great for him.

Raja could have accepted a minimum buyout. He didn't want to. He had a choice he chose to sit and get paid. No lack of class it was business, and Raja was smart to take the money and sit, because nobody was giving him a contract once he was bought out.

So i will take the bait....

Joe Johnson has not been completely unplayable.
Joe johnson has not publicly trashed the coach, his teamates, the GM and ownership.
Joe has not turned down a buyout offer.

Rodger Baile did all those things.

But really, now that Lindsey missed out on Niko, why not JJ and Favors for Love?

Yep the classless one in that confrontation was definitely Raja.

I don't think we get a second rounder unless we can find a team that wants him but likely wouldn't get him if he was bought out. I'm honestly not sure who would even be interested in him at this point.

Not surprised and I'm holding no ill will to Joe. This team is a playoff bubble team and he wants more.
I'll always, and I mean ALWAYS love Iso Joe for getting us that playoff series win.
He was literally the reason why Lob City is over.
Wish him well and hope he gets a ring wherever he goes

Jazz wanted to pay Raja his earnings to date. They didn't want him to get paid twice. Then they cut him loose right after the deadline to sign with another team and be eligible for the playoffs.

And I think we learned that while Raja was no angel, Corbin deserved most of the blame for his terrible interaction with players. Now if someone had the same complaints with Quin, I might be quicker to blame the player.

Loved Joe's time with the Jazz last year. This year he's been pretty bad, with a few good games here and there. He needs to be on a team where he can play spot minutes, like 10 a game, instead of trying to play 20+ with his age. I'll always remember how fun he was on last year's team, though. Wish him the best!

Love Joe, but won't be too sad to see him leave given his age and production. I do love his confidence and calm that he brings to the team when they otherwise might be pressing for a bucket. But, at the end of the day, him moving doesn't really hurt us in either the short or long term.

Loved Joe just for signing with Utah. Never cared much one way or the other about him before that. Didn't really matter how much he did. Just brought attention to Utah for deciding to play with the Jazz. But yeah, we don' get past the Clippers without him.

Roger Braille and Joe Johnson situation isn’t even comparable. They shouldn’t even be mentioned in the same sentence. You can’t honestly say you don’t see the difference.

Thank you Joe for signing with us , hitting all those game winners and taking us to the 2nd round. I will miss those ISO Joe moments and sweet reliable plays when you leave
