Redemption Game: Utah Jazz @ Dallas Mavericks

If we win this game... I'll be pleased.

There's no way we win this game on the road, it's true. Although I do think this is a slightly better match up for us than Houston (we are still going to get beat, but hopefully it'll be competitive).

Also:

I hope Snyder lets Exum run a bit tonight. I know we want to be careful with how much we throw him out there right now, but he played well last night.

Haygod and truth Burke gonna bounce back and rain threes. Gobear and sexual favors gonna have a night swatting flies and gripping basket ballZ. Kanter can gtfo unless he plays marginally better than yesterday. How'd I do. ♡♡ im drunk.

Out.

i circled both rockets & mavs game as big L. our bulk of wins will come from beating bad teams and occasionally win against better teams. but opening game at mavs will be tough. it will be tough for any teams.

So much good luck in one photo

I predict that Exum has a huge game and this forum goes freaking nuts.

That would be awesome. I watched a little of last nights game this morning and I somehow got the impression that Exum's legs had a little lead in them. For example, when he stole the ball and went full court for the layup he just didn't have that spark that I've seen in his videos from before he was with the Jazz. The Rockets defender caught him easily. Maybe it was just first-game nerves sapping his energy. Thinking back to his first summer league games, I wonder if he has had his blood checked, etc. to make sure he is running at full revs.

Upset tonite ,Nowitzski,Chandler and Parsons look like a big line ,but their going to be a weak rebounding team....this is where we see if the Jazz are going to make noise when they can dominate the boards

wasnt lead in his legs ,it was a sweet move not to let anyone fly behind him to block his shot ala Hayward ,Lebron..by using his length and reach to lay it over the front of the rim and use his body to shield the chase down

Actually, I just watched it again and ran it in slow motion...what happened is Exum got the errant pass by Beverly and both he and Beverly started down the court at almost the same time, with Exum getting a slight jump on Beverly. Beverly ran him down so much so that he went right by him as Exum went up for the layup. Beverly had about 1.5 strides to Exum's one on the way down the court, so Exum's strides are huge but they also looked slow. Exum was running as fast as he could. He wasn't gauging Beverly to use his body as a shield, he just wasn't very fast.

Beverly is a fast dude. Clearly faster/more explosive than Exum.
