Tom Brady was a sixth rounder.
So you're saying you hope some other team drafts this year's Memo and then we swoop in and outbid them for his services after his skill has been recognized in a couple of years, because that's how we got Memo. From the Jazz perspective it really doesn't matter what position Memo was drafted in.The Jazz front office can find a gem or two in the second round. Memo wasn't though highly when he was drafted, but if you redid his draft he would have been top five. I hope the Jazz can pull something like this off in this year's draft.

I realize that and I agree that it would be great to find a good player (if we can open a roster spot which might be challenging). But I also thought it was worth pointing out that the team that found Memo in the second round is not the one who benefited from the player he became. Ginobili and Millsap are better examples of the type of second round success we are hoping for.He never said the Jazz drafted him. Just that he hoped the Jazz could find a good player there.
You're going to use MEMO as an example?
