Report: Jazz ready, willing, able to deal

People who just want to give up on Rubio are foolish. He is starting to turn a corner, and people want to dump him?
thank you.

I think Rubio may still have a place on this team through the end of this contract. It may be off-the-bench, but he does a few things well. Yall have to be encouraged by some of the changes he's making lately.

The fit with the starting line-up is bad. But that's not ALL Ricky.

Our management has class and aren't foolish like some fans on here. You can't just give up on Rubio... He isn't Gordan Girciek sp? No choke hold either
Keeping Rubio will make management look foolish.

The Jazz need to be creative here. If they get some assets and get back some contracts that immediately hit the waiver wire go for it. We have the first round draft pick center and the two two ways playing for the Stars. See if they are prospects also they can sign some guys on 10 days contracts from the DLeague as well. .

Yeah, just mostly.

So I'm fine with that, but if you can actually put his salary/cap number to work rather than out to pasture then I'd much rather do that.

Also, I don't believe for one second that he's turned any corner.
I understand your position and I think you're right about the money. I just think the jazz are playing for the 2019 offseason; and (a) I don't see DL moving on this year, and (b) I don't think it's likely that we find an expiring-for-expiring swap for next year that we like any better. Ricky is a ball-mover who can handle and pass... the jazz are trying to be built on those principles and we don't have them in good supply.

that's all.

I'm annoyed the Jazz players are mentioned basically on every trade these days like the whole team is on sale.. I mean no one other than Favors is on sale, and guess what, he's been on sale since three years already. Minus the stretch-4 issue, Jazz are not desperate to make a move at all. On the contrary they're smart enough to realize they should be patient. And finally the Jazz historically do their moves behind the scenes.. this time not? it can't all be rumors, right? I hope it's only those lousy FOs of east teams that's leaking information to the media.

Farm Club ....the Jazz players move on to take the next step up. At 1st the Jazzfanz were sold a bill of goods that Jazz were hiring someone who would develop Hood,Favors,Burks ,Exum ...now look and see who's on the trading block.
I'm on board that Snyder's system has failed these players.....Hayward saw it and bailed out on Snyder. Why is it that the developer of young talent always plays the older players and the young players take turn in his doghouse?
Jazz are near the bottom in team rebounding with Gobert and Favors and a taller team.
Now the Jazz are heading for hitting the reset button and we get to watch a mediocre team for another couple more years.
