The Bulls just waived him. He did average 10 points the past two seasons. Perhaps a one or two year deal?

Rip is done - he hasn't shot 40% from 3 in years. Last year was a career worst.
Let him play out the string somewhere else.
Why do people keep wanted us to sign old vet players that are not going to help us in the future. All a player like this will do is take minutes from young players and make us win 3 or 4 more games this season. We dont care about winning a couple more games if it doesnt help our future. Plus Rip has never been a player to help young players develop and throws fits when he is not starting or getting minutes, this is Raja all over again.
Once again if we are a contender than maybe he is a good player to get 5-10 minutes a game off the bench if not he is a waste of time and hurts our future.
No, not because of Rip (who I'd like) but because of Ty. Rip is exactly the kind of player that Ty would ride. A vet with a great history that still contributes some. Ty would slide him right into starter and our core suffers as a result. I'd rather give all the time to the kids now and go make a splash in next years free agency.
