One of the bigger issues is that The Clippers are in reaction mode rather than aggression mode. They have had 3 days in order to plan for what the Jazz are going to do. The lineup the Jazz gave them is new for them, while we can still use the same Clippers scouting report. They aren't going to throw a new wrinkle offensively, which, for a well coached team, like the 90's Jazz would be a good thing for them. I'm not sure the Clippers are a well coached team. They get chippy and frustrated when things don't go their way. Chris Paul has never shown he can remove himself from the script and dominate in the Playoffs, as good as he has been.
The Clippers will come out fired up, but will wilt if they face much adversity. All the Jazz need to do is hit open shots, which will be available with our misdirection and an amped up Clippers squad.
I see no reason why Joe Johnson doesn't continue to have a good series. How do the Clips defend him?
