Rubio vs Conley

I was thinking about the chemistry between Conley and Gobert at the end of the Grizz game last night. To my eyes, Conley is so much better running the pick n' roll and throwing the alley oop. Real happy to see Rubio flourishing in Phoenix, and I know that Conley is struggling with his shooting right now, but I see more talent and potential in Conley.

And a worse record and bad losses in the playoffs. Also he isn't a better shooter, or defender. The other stuff is iffy, also how many alley oops did Rubio through to Gobert for that dunk record? Or was it other players...

I prefer a point guard that the opposing teams actually guard. Makes the team much better as our record shows.
 
Moving on from Rubio was a very very easy choice for this team. After year 1 it was hopeful he could fit in and was shooting well but he that was out the window year 2 here.

The crowd of delusion over here seriously thinks rubio is better. Same way some folks think exum is miraculously going to turn into prime jordan.

Have you lost your cotton picken mind? With our shooting and numerous turnovers it's a shock we are 8-4 instead of 4-8! Our shooting percentage has been pathetic, and we've had numerous games with more turnovers than assists! Will things improve? I hope so!

We lost to Memphis twice to begin the 18.19 season

Getting away from the numbers it's obvious most of us watch these games expecting a W, twas not the case at this point in the last two seasons.

Donovan is playing like an MVP, Bogey is a sniper, Gobert is clutch Defense, add an improved Conley and we are verybadass.

You are seriously comparing a ball hog, ball stopping, no defense playing guy to a guy like Conley? Who has been voted best teammate and other awards? Melo didn't try and fit in, Conley is struggling because he is trying to fit in.
 
It would have been interesting to see Rubio with the current starters sans Conley... Ricky is really flawed and I think there is a ceiling that Conley gives us that Ricky could not. If we see good or even just average Mike Conley for a few weeks I think it would really calm us all down.
