Maybe it is the design of the offense, but what I am not understanding with Conley early this season is his low assists. He is a Tier II PG in this league (!), whose shot is not falling, which happens, but there is no excuse for not shifting to be a more pass-first PG during this time of shooting woes. He should be more of a playmaker for others, more pick and roll with Gobert or pick and pop with Bojan. If Conley can't hit a shot, he should be averaging 6+ assists a game, preferably 8+ a game (although he has never averaged over 6.5), helping others get easier shots.
