John Stockton holds the all time steals record in the NBA but never made the team. Bet he would have in NYC or LA.

Phil Jackson said Scottie Pippen was the best defender he ever saw. He said Pippen always guarded the other team's best player in the 4th quarter whether it was PG, SG, SF, or PF.

Pippen never won DPOY, but guess who did? Lil ole MJ. That is the perfect example of how popularity trumps fairness. MJ wasn't even the best defender on his own team.

Yannis improved by 6ppg (16.9_22+)), 1apg, and 1rpg. Gobert improved by 5ppg (from 9ppg), 2rpg and .5bpg.

So Yannis adds Rookie of Year. The guy already averaged 16.9ppg. Gobert improved his scoring by over 50%. Gobert advanced in the playoffs when Yannis didn't.

Wow, just realized the Rockets pulled down three awards. Coach of the year, MVP and 6th man of the year. Seems like that team was not good enough to get all that.
