Rudy will never get it yo. Never. It doesn't matter how well he plays. Because they don't give these awards based on skill. It's all a popularity contest. Nba awards are a joke.

I think you can make a case for Green over Rudy for the DPOY and one for Rudy winning too. The problem I have is the vote wasn't even close. So I tend to agree National TV exposure helps candidates but so does winning. Now that the Jazz have made the playoffs they will get more of the exposure needed to win the big awards. Malone was league MVP twice.

I am not surprised Giannas won he got more attention then Rudy and he made the All-star team. Rudy's time will come if he continues to work hard and the team continues to progress towards a championship level. Just more motivation for Rudy, not that he needs it. Rudy next level is to improve his offensive game. I was glad he got first team all-NBA which he deserved.

Btw the only way Rudy will get one is when the NBA and the ppl get sick of the same person winning it always. Just like how Malone won his MVP do to ppl getting tired of seeing Jordan winning it all the time.

When that happens, I hope Rudy rejects that **** and say, nah I'm good. He'll be a complete goat after that. lol
