Just watched the first half of Indiana's losses @New York and v.Atlanta. Both games were during their 10-13 run to end the season. All the talk about Stephenson being a selfish ball stopper are overblown if these games are indicative of his play. Lance made quick decisions, and the possessions he used seemed to result in better shots than possessions initiated by Paul George, George Hill or Roy Hibbert (those 3 played atrociously during Indiana's slump...somehow this was Lance's fault). Lance communicated well on both sides of the ball (especially on defense), did a really good job picking up a/his man in transition (and, again, communicating defensive responsibilities on the fly), and generally made good decisions on offense. His shot is ugly, but so is Gordo's. I really don't see how Hayward is worth more than Lance based on their actual play.
